    • Nice and very sturdy, but no written instructions
These are really nice and sturdy, but if they just wrote a few instructions they could be easy to put together instead of leaving you cursing. It only provides pictures on screw placement. For an easy installation process, do the following: 1). Lightly screw all screws with locking nuts and washers that attach to the legs, including the ring brace to the legs. This allows you to easily place the screws into both the legs and supporting ring before tightening them. If you tightly screw the first screws to the seat as the picture makes you think you should, you will be fighting and hurting yourself over trying to get the ring brace in place and screwed together. 2). Turn the stool on its side to more easily put the seat back into position and insert all the screws. Then you can more easily prop the back into the right position so you can apply the nuts to all screws. 3). Don't use the mini wrench provided as it's really hard to hold the nuts properly while turning the allen wrench. Instead use pliers on the nuts while turning the Allen wrench. ... show more

These are very strong and sturdy bar stools. They look nice as well as being very comfortable with a soft seating area. The assembly is easy but takes a little time. We needed three but only bought one just to try out first. I might add that these bar stools do swivel a fact that is unclear in the description. I ordered this stool so I could sit down in my kitchen. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the measurements, which I should have. This stool is very large, very heavy, very high quality, and relatively easy for my husband to put together. I wanted something heavy that wouldn't scoot across the floor when I tried to sit in it. This is definitely that. Unfortunately, it took up half my small kitchen. Also unfortunately, I am short and couldn't get up onto the seat at all. I am confident this barstool would hold up to my 300+- pound husband, but he is 5'11" and it wasn't easy for him to get into it.     • Barstool was nice but l did return it for a shorter one.
I ordered this barstool before noticing it was 30" seat height and it wouldn't fit under my console table. I immediately ordered the 24" because this stool is quite sturdy and comfortable!
