The chair is too small specially if you are under 5.1" your head will not stay above the opening. I had to change the chair but the unit is roomy and the steam function is very nice. Assembly is easy used it couple of times all good. I just got it so let me see for a while and hope it will last a while. Good buy for the money. The customer service is amazing. I like the steamer; however, it's not very spacious and the steam release gadget doesn't sit securely (flat) on the inside of the tent. Sitting on that tiny chair in a crouched position is not ergonomically sound. My knees and back hurt sitting nearly hunchbacked for 20 minutes (as I'm tall, and sitting up causes the tent to shift forward). I burned my heel several times due to that piece constantly shifting. The designers should include a safety pocket on the floor of the tent, specifically for that piece of equipment. That way, it doesn't move around or come in contact with the foot. ... show more

Wanted the benefits of a steam sauna but didn't want to pay the price of permanent units. This little unit does the job in a back room in my house. It is a bit flimsy, and takes about 25 minutes to heat up, but once I am in and break the sweat it makes it all worthwhile. I would recommend if you don't have to breakdown and setup every day. I bought this sauna since most real saunas are way to pricey to just get a good sweat. The unit itself is small but more than enough room for my 5'10 175 lb body. It comes with a tiny stool that I thought was a joke but it is surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. THe unit is easy to to assemble and operate. Assembly was just like assembling a tent, with poles being inserted around the frame of the unit. Once assembled, you fill the container with water, attach the container to the unit, select a temp and turn it on. Very simple. A little tricky at first to figure out how to situate yourself but once you stick your arms through the zippered holes, in the front, it is a breeze. The unit takes about 10 minutes to really get steamy but once it reaches temp, you are literally steaming hot inside the unit. Make sure the steamer unit is in the corner. I had it underneath me and my rear end got really baked within minutes. The supplied remote is super handy and there is a pocket in the front you can drop it into so you don't have to hold onto it the entire time. Unfortunately after the 3rd use, the front zipper came apart from the unit. I emailed the seller and they immediatley sent me a brand new unit. So far, no issues with the new unit. I didn't even have to send back the original unit. Great response and quick turnaround. This seller definitely knows how to keep customers happy and I always appreciate that. Just put it together based on the videos under this item. I had to allow it to heat up and the water boil and steam began to come for 10 minuys adding a tablespoon of sals to the water to speed up the boil. I’m 300 lbs and for inside with no problem. Further I placed a card table chair inside and didn’t use the chair that came with the unit it looked like it would break easily. Sitting in my own chai was perfect. I LOVE saunas ever since my father introduced me to them when I was a child. For over 30 years, I would usually end my workouts with a long stay in a dry/steam sauna. When the pandemic hit, I couldn't use the sauna at the gym for 2+ years! Started building and expanding my home gym, and this was my latest purchase. It's awesome! Only needed 5-10 minutes to put it together. The steam takes about 10-15 minutes to start heating up. Once it got going....man, it's god-send. Just some things to be aware of: 1. The tubes transferring the steam heat up and can burn your legs. Position the steamer under or behind the chair. Or buy some type of heat covering for the tubes. 2. I'm 280-285 lbs. The little chair that comes with holds me very well. However, you can use a folding lawn chair to make it safer and more comfortable. I absolutely love this product! If anything changes over time, I'll update my review. For now, it's 5 out of 5 stars! ______ 3-9-2022 Update - Still love it! Added pics that show insulating foam pipe covers I bought (via Amazon) to cover the tubes. I also use a sturdy lawn chair with garage insulation on the seat. The steamer should be placed under the seat. However, it could start cooking your rear-end and lower back! The insulation panel was the last "fix." ------- 12-27-2022 update: Still love it! However, the zip in the zipper started eroding & could not be fixed...and not able to close to keep the steam in. I contacted the company and they sent a BRAND NEW tent free of charge since it was under the 1 year warranty! I'll probably reach out to them to replace the steamer. The fogger light stopped working months ago. And moisture keeps getting into the display. Every so often, I hear weird clicking sounds when I power it on. And I can only turn it on using the remote vs pressing the buttons on the steamer. All that said, I use this A LOT!!! Based on how much I use it, I'm surprised it still works as well as it does. If/when the warranty is up and I need a new one, I wouldn't have a problem buying a new unit. I've gotten my money's worth and more out of this. And again, I'm a power user...and attribute some of the issues to my constant use. * The company is sending a NEW steamer in 2-3 weeks. :) Additional tip: 1) I clean the outside of the sauna using a portable steam cleaner for my car. Worked like a charm & smells fresh! Also did the same for the chair. Each week, I clean the inside with disinfectant. ... show more
