Wanted a quick pickup vacuum for a small inground pool. Deep end is 6 ft and the debris settles in the deep end all in one spot. When I don't want to haul out the pool filter vacuum setup I use this. Attach hose to the fitting, turn on hose and this really picks up the debris well as it is sucked up into the mesh bag. Pull out of pool, detach bag and empty. Works real well.

Put together as instructed. Attached to my garden hose that has great pressure (I even varied it in case it was too strong) but it just didn't work as described. To be fair it picked up a little but I'd say 90% of what it should have picked up it just pushed it away from the device and spread it around the pool. Absolutely worthless.

The headline is one of two issues I had. 1: the quick disconnect is cheap and doesn't stay connected to the vacuum head. 2: I bought this for the "ultra Fine" filter back to pick up dead algae and smaller debris on the bottom of my pool and it does not collect the "scum"/ dead algae, so I am in search of an even finer filter bag. Other than that, it performs exactly like I expected.
