The ithera steam sauna works well. 4 of us have tried it, 2 thought it was hot and steamy on the hotest setting. 2 of us thought the highest setting was too hot and preferred a lower setting. None of us liked the small camp chair that came with the sauna so a shower chair is being used. At the end of each use I remove the mat to let it dry out and wipe the entire inside down with a dry towel, then leave the window open and the door open to fully air dry and by doing this I have had no problems with mold. 2 of us felt that the steam sauna helped temporarily with sinus issues and minor pains.

I purchased this product to test it but quickly discovered that none of the heat is produced via infrared - it’s 100% steam heat. There’s a big difference in how they work and how they affect your body. Infrared heat works by emitting electromagnetic waves, similar to how the sun warms you, which directly heat objects and surfaces instead of the air. The infrared waves are absorbed by cooler objects, exciting their molecules and causing them to vibrate and become warmer. These objects then radiate their own heat back into the room through conduction, convection, and radiation, creating a more immediate and targeted warmth.

The media could not be loaded. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! a few things to understand…it is a steam sauna, not a sauna (dry heat). I was able to put this together by myself in about 15-20 minutes. It’s super easy and lightweight. The included chair is small, but does the trick for now. I may upgrade my chair at some point. I love the red light as well. I’m no red light expert, but this is a stronger red light compared to a lot of other similar products, so the light penetrates deeper into the skin helping with muscle recovery. The light also creates a calming experience inside! It comes with a remote for the steam machine also. I got this for $140 on Black Friday sale and feel it is well worth it!

Buy the sauna!!!! When I tell you this is a huge upgrade from the I had before!!! You will sweat, it gets extremely hot hot hot you will feel amazing and be proud of yourself for doing something for you!!
