I've been using induction stoves for several years, and I bought this countertop for light cooking or deep frying.While it costs a bit more than other models I’ve owned, I feel much safer cooking with it—especially since I've had bad experiences with plastic models that emit strong burning smells at high heat. Heats up way faster than my old one. Like, when I’m having a family gathering and need to boil 5 gallons of water for a big pot of food, it gets the job done much quicker, even though they are rated at 1800 watts. The temperature control also makes sense—after setting it to HEAT mode at 1800 watts to boil, it holds steady without boiling over when I switch to TEMP mode. It’s simple to use and perfect for soups or big meals. A great addition to my kitchen, and the sleek design looks beautiful on the countertop.

This portable induction cooktop came well-packaged and ready to use. It’s restaurant-certified and looks great on the counter while being easy to move around. Initially, I didn’t plan to use it for everyday cooking, as I usually rely on my full-size electric range. However, after preparing a few meals, I was amazed at how fast it heats up—it actually performs better than my full-sized range. Now, I just place it right on top of my range. The cooktop has a fan, but the noise is barely noticeable. One of the best features is the control buttons. They’re simple to use, unlike the touch-sensitive controls on my old range, which would malfunction whenever condensation dripped onto the glass when lifting a lid. I also love that I can use it outdoors when frying, which helps reduce lingering odors in the house during warmer months. We’ve been using it every day for two weeks now. Highly recommend it!

Excellent performance. Very even cook. Easy to operate. Easy to clean. Good amount of air space between device and cook surface it’s set on fire cooling. Sturdy. Received quickly. Actually performs better than my kitchen induction stovetop.

This cooktop feels really well built with a stainless steel body, tempered glass top, non-slip feet, simple and clear display, and control buttons with solid tactile feedback. Everything looks designed to withstand the daily use, is easy to clean, and will probably last forever. The maximum power of 1800W is reasonable because it needs to work on any typical non-shared 110V kitchen outlet. Any significantly higher power would blow the fuse. For much higher powers, a dedicated 240V circuit would be needed. I boiled exactly 1 liter of water starting from 16C (61F) and it took 4 minutes and 45 seconds to come to a full boil using the special boil setting. There are also settings for constant power, constant temperature and even a timer. It generates some hum during use at high power, but that is not really distracting and part of the technology. Even a gas cooktop make some noise! I got this unit for two reasons. I have an outlet on my outdoor BBQ island and occasionally also need a cooktop to prepare sides or sauces. This will work perfectly. We are also planning a kitchen remodel and thinking of getting a 36" induction cooktop. Having never use an induction top before, we can now test to see if that's what we really want. It comes with a well written illustrated manual and even a magnetic sheet to test of a pan is suitable. Of course the cooktop will also automatically detect incompatible pans, refuse to heat, and display an error instead. Overall, I was impressed by the built quality and ease of use. This will se a lot of use in the future.

This cook stove does everything that it is supposed to do and then some. It is made really well and it looks good. It's sleek and compact. I cooked a steak on it and it was hot enough that I got a really good bark on it. I've been thinking about giving up my entire oven and stove and downsizing this way and this is the first step. When I converted my ambulance to a camper, I embraced induction cooking because I wanted to avoid explosive propane and I wanted my limited countertop space to be empty except when being used in some way. So a portable, plug-in cooktop fit the bill. These do draw a lot of watts if you are off grid but they can boil water faster than any other cooktop so you are using it for less time. This unit--an attractive rectangular top with plenty of space for a stockpot or a large fry pan--will be put to use in the tiny house I am building. The tiny house does have a 2 small burner glasstop cooktop recessed in the counter so I can still heat aluminum or glass pans. But for occasions when I need several cooktops or just a LARGER cooktop, I will use this induction cooktop. Then I can hide it away and off the counter when it's no longer needed. I really haven't used the lower settings much as I have been accused of being an impatient cook. (Everything cooks quickly on high. LOL) This is a very nice induction cooktop, even nicer than the one that stays in my ambulance.
