I love this shelf so much, after I bought the first one I went back and bought another! Extremely easy to assemble, but pay attention to the directions. There is a slope at the top of the side bars…the high side of the slope should go towards the back.

This is exactly what I needed for my corner collection of gnomes. I read the reviews and people's suggestions, and I still had to reassemble it, due to my own error. The book is pictorial only. Make sure you have all three framework pieces in the proper positions before adding shelves. The slant tops go upright, facing the ceiling. It was easier for me to do by assembling top down. I examined each shelf prior to positioning to make sure I had the nicest side up. Only one shelf had a small matte area and I just positioned it facing down. Nothing major at all. It's a very nice looking and sturdy shelf. The photo is not where it will be placed; it was for this review only. If you notice the photo of the top shelf, the last photo, the slanted top is probably not assembled correctly by me. I'm not certain what the slants are actually for. I just used the 'spare parts' bag and used two longer screws for those two front holes and it worked great. Make sure you have the bottom shelf facing the correct way as well for the support leg to be added, holes down. I would buy it again. I might buy another! I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I looked around my area and didn't find the kind of shelf I wanted, and they were much more expensive. This will last me for the light wear it will receive. I like the look of it. It took about 40 minutes, even with my mistakes, and the only tool I used was an allen wrench (I think it was 7/64 in). There was one in the kit but I used my own tool. Also, it comes with anchoring straps and hardware. I won't be using those in my old stucco home, and it will be in a corner, so should be fine without it. It arrived a day early, even with Prime, and all pieces were whole, intact, and in good shape.

One thing I am noticing from this company is the lack of written intructions. Tips and tricks would at least be nice. CAUTION: the outside posts on this stand have a slight angle to them. Make sure the angle is going up on the outside prior to assembling or you will need to reassemble to allow the top to lay flat. I found this out after putting it together and seeing one side was angled in and one out. It's not very noticable until assembled and standing up. Other than the annoying lack of instructions this piece was a lot easier to assemble than the shelf I bought from the same manufacturer.

Ordering and shipping via Amazon was not a problem. The unit arrived timely (actually a day earlier than scheduled) and in fine shape... however... it also arrived with no hardware. Almost a week and multiple emails, messages and one phone call later I FINALLY got someone to reach out to me, via email, to resolve this issue with the outcome being “the hardware should arrive in 7-10 business days”... it actually arrived in 6! The next day I was finally able to construct the piece which took less than an hour. Only one screw does not quite fit right but overall I am happy with it's size, look and how well it fits into the space I need it to. Overall pleased but i'm not sure I'll purchase furniture from these folks again.
