Tested this unit against another 1500 watt unit with a Kill A Watt meter. The 1500 watt unit was 1500 watts this unit was only 800 watts. This tells me that the unit was only 800 watts or defective. The unit said it was putting out 2200 watts with no errors so I assume it wasn't defective and returned unit and selected a different unit. ... show more

I couldn't figure it out at first. I was turning it on and it kept beeping an error code to me. Turns out you have to have the pan or pot on it when you turn it on. It works very well and is awesome for using at home, but I'm sure I'll end up bringing it out to go camping or other uses as well. It's very nice! ... show more

This is a great portable cooktop. It is made with top quality materials and workmanship. The stove looks awesome! The controls are easy to read and use.
