The unit does as specified with a water reservoir and LED. Refilling the water can be tiresome as at higher levels it can drain quickly, however, I've found even without water the unit will still produce a cool flow. Like any fan unit, it can get noisy but not terribly annoying. I use this as an intake of cool air for a PC, but of course usable for any situation.     • NOT an Air Conditioner
This product is imported from a parallel dimension where a compressor driven air conditioner and an evaporative cooling "swamp cooler" (a fan blowing room temp air over a wet membrane) are the same thing. In our dimension, these two items are not even remotely the same thing. I mean, good luck lowering the humidity in a room by adding moisture to the air. That should work out great for you. Have fun using these in the south where the humidity is already 80%. This item is about as much an A/C unit as it is a baseball or a fish. Stop lying to us, Amazon. We're already addicted to you, there's no need to deceive us into buying things that aren't what you say they are. ... show more
