  • Quiet and efficient
Size: 10,000 BTU
I’ve been using the Vremi 10000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner for a week now, and I’m quite pleased with my purchase. First and foremost, it lives up to its promise of being a quiet unit, making it perfect for keeping my room comfortable without any distracting noise. Installation was a breeze, and I appreciate how easy it is to move around thanks to its portability. The unit cools my 500 sq ft room efficiently, and the powerful cooling fan ensures a significant drop in temperature during hot days. The reusable filter is a nice touch, it will save me money on replacement filters, and the auto shut-off feature adds peace of mind, especially when I forget to turn it off. Overall, the Vremi 10000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner has been a great addition to my home, providing cool comfort without the hassle. I highly recommend it for small to medium-sized rooms. ... show more

  • It works well and easy
Size: 12000 BTU
It's new but so far so good. I'm here in Florida and I at home so I don't want to lower my entire ac because my office gets hot. This baby does the trick. It's bigger than I thought it would and it's not loud but not quiet either. For me though it's like white noise so it's fine. Keeps my room cool. I added a picture of the energy guide rating as I couldn't find it anywhere here. ... show more

  • Works well, tstat is horrible
Bought this for a small home office that had no heat or A/C. (~100 sq ft) No issues cooling or heating the space. Biggest gripe is the thermostat is horribly inconsistent. It gets “stuck” and it does so inconsistently. One day it’s set for 65F and the room is around 66F, reasonable difference. Another day it’s set for 65F and the room is 76F! Have to adjust it down several degrees to get it to shut off. So if you’re using it in a space that is typically occupied, no issues. If you’re using it to maintain a room automatically with no one coming and going, you’re going to see huge temp swings (and electric bill!) ... show more

  • Good unit
Size: 12000 BTU
I have a Frigidaire unit that works great, but needed another unit for upstairs. I have 2 vremi air filters that I really like, so for the money difference between the Frigidaire and vremi I gave this unit a try. It is a bit noisy (more than the Frigidaire) but works well! Due to the noise difference I put the vremi downstairs. Happy with easy set up, all pieces and parts accounted for and fit well. The window vent system is great and easily adjustable. The cycling on auto is a bit loud, but not startling. It keeps a consistent temperature. I recommend this unit if you are budget minded and don’t mind that it is a bit loud. You don’t really notice how loud it is until it cycles off in the auto mode. ... show more

  • My best friend - 2 in 1 is perfect and saves on money
This thing is my best friend. I live in North Florida so we get cold winters and hot summers. We are serviced by GRU so our utility bills are one of the highest in the state so we can't afford to cool and heat the entire house if I'm the only one here (I work remotely). This little beauty gets COLD in the summer yet our power bill has gone DOWN (the lowest it's ever been, and our power usage has been way down too). In the Winter when it's freezing outside it gets toasty and warm, and on some days I use both the AC and heater depending on the time of day. In the summer we keep the house at 82 but I keep my office around 65, and in the winter we keep the house at 66 and I keep my office around 72. The remote is nice but it can be a bit temperamental (sometimes I press the Off button but it just switches to a different mode - likely user error). I believe in setup it said it can go as low as 60 and as high as 90, but I haven't needed to use either extreme because I'm not insane. I love this thing so much. ... show more

  • Disappointing AC Heater: Leaking and Unreliable
I recently purchased an AC heater for my home with high hopes of keeping my space comfortable during the changing seasons. However, my experience with this particular unit has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From the very beginning, it has presented numerous issues, the most prominent of which is the persistent leakage all over my floor. The leaking problem has been a constant headache. No matter how carefully I install and maintain the unit, it continues to leave a pool of water on the floor every time it's in operation. This has not only caused damage to my flooring but has also created a safety hazard with the risk of slipping and falling. The constant need to clean up the mess and address the water damage has become a time-consuming and costly endeavor. Moreover, the overall performance of the AC heater has been far from satisfactory. The unit fails to provide consistent heating, often leaving certain areas of my home colder than others. The temperature control is unreliable, making it challenging to maintain a comfortable environment. Additionally, the noise level generated by the AC heater is surprisingly loud, disrupting the tranquility of my living space. Given the persistent leakage issue and the subpar performance, I have reached the conclusion that this AC heater is simply not worth the trouble. The inconvenience it has caused, coupled with the potential long-term damage to my flooring, outweigh any benefits it may offer. Turning it back in for a refund or replacement seems inevitable at this point. In summary, I cannot recommend this AC heater due to its consistent leakage, unreliable performance, and overall lack of value. I would strongly advise potential buyers to explore alternative options that prioritize quality, durability, and customer satisfaction. ... show more

  • This thing really saved us during the last heat dome...
Size: 12000 BTU
I say that "last heat dome" as I suspect they'll happen more and more. But this worked nicely, as it effectively cooled almost three rooms. Not as good as central AC, but if you don't have that option, this works fine. Note that this thing uses the 5.9" diameter on the venting tube. It comes with the adapter for windows, but I was using it be a patio screen so I had to order the adapter kit. They're inexpensive and easy to install, and worked well. I wish I read the fine-print about it not having a heater function, but I'm not saddened by that. ... show more
