The unit comes with the wheels on which makes it easy to maneuver. Attractive. Watch an unpacking video just to know what you are looking for. Easy to set up, love the automatic air flow door- opens and closes with on and off button. Good for keeping dust out and safe around kids and pets. The 3 airflow settings are just right- the highest being quite powerful. It begins cooling immediately. We haven't set it up in the window yet- it's March and we are in the Northeast. I haven't tried the remote yet- probably wont use it much. Caution when opening bag with remote, batteries and manual - there is a small screw in there to stabilize the window installation. Style: 10,000 BTU With WIFi
This AC unit exceeded my expectations. I saw a mix of good and bad reviews and decided to roll the dice because it’s 10,000 btu and most units in this price range are 8,000, and don’t have wifi controls. I get extremely uncomfortable in heat (I grew up in Alaska but am living much further south now.. So I’m very sensitive to hot temps) and had really high hopes for this product. At first I was disappointed at how loud it seemed- but once I got it all hooked up and the exhaust duct on and connected to the window, it became much quieter. I quickly realized that the bulk of the noise is the exhaust fan. So when the rear exhaust duct is connected it muffles that sound quite a bit. It still makes some noise, but I’m able to be on zoom calls just a few feet from the unit and it doesn’t affect the audio. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the comments is how well the wheels on the bottom work to allow the unit to easily move around. It’s effortless to push the unit in any direction (your only limited by the length of the ducting). So after reading some negative comments saying the unit leaks from the inside, I find it pretty simple to check for this. If you drain it properly, and check the bottom plug ever so often, I don’t think there is anything wrong with this product leaking. I have not experienced this whatsoever. I have drained the bottom plug a few times, which drains any condensation that stays in the unit. All in all, this is a good unit and I’d buy it again. ... show more

I will give the SereneLife Portable Air Conditioner Model SLPAC105W I purchased 4 out of 5 stars. The Good: Unit is well packed and arrived undamaged. Unit is easy to unpack and easy for one person to move. With the exception of the exhaust hose the unit is basically ready to go. With only a short period of operation so far, the unit is quiet enough, seems powerful and effectively cools the air. The Bad: The exhaust hose does not have any screening on it. If your intended window does not have a screen beware-virtually anything could get in there. The exhaust hose adapter is a very simple, “Will fit most windows type of deal." This is a lot different from“Will work in most windows,” which would be nice. There is no foam insulation or tape provided and as delivered the exhaust fitting did not seal in my window frame, nor did it stay in place on its own. Significant adapting was necessary to seal the fitting in the window and I am still working on a good “pop-in, pop-out” solution. The Ugly: None. Overall this unit will serve our purposes, seems mechanically sound, was delivered as expected and works. ... show more

Very easy to get up and running with a few tweaks to the window slider. Had to make some cuts. The AC gets cold FAST and cools down a 12x12 bedroom like a champ! This unit reminds me of those motel room AC units that make the room so cold that you need a thick blanket to stay warm. Just started it up today so test of time as to how long it keeps working at this level! Very happy so far! ... show more

We decided to use window units instead of putting in new HVAC unit. I did not want window units on the front of the house. When they can make an HVAC that works for years compared to the cost, maybe we'll change our minds. This AC unit is the best. Cold air and powerful! WE use throws to keep our legs warm in 90 degrees. Not very quiet but you get used to it. I agree with the instructions being vague. The drainage ports are not explained. I will probably order another one for next summer and get rid of the window units. ... show more

We bought this air conditioner in January so we haven't had a chance to really use it much yet. However, the blower is powerful and the air is cold. We expect it be a great product for us. When we received the air conditioner, the remote was missing. We contacted the company and got an immediate response asking for proof of purchase. We sent that and got a reply that the remote would be sent. We got it promptly. The communication was always swift and polite. I was impressed from the moment I was able to get it up the steps to my door, alone. That's on the delivery dirtbag. First off, it arrived sooner than originally originally estimated - during a lull in the heatwave, so I was able to get it set up and tested before the current heat blast began today. It was packaged very well, with all of the components, except the 2 screws required for the exhaust hose. No probs. There's always a few loose screws floating around this funny farm. I'm disabled, one of the main reasons I chose this model, for ease of moving around the house. I had to come up with something to keep the exhaust hose window plate in my window, because it is too long to be set within the window itself. So I placed a section of 2" thick Styrofoam on the window sill, then put the exhaust plate on that, but snug up against the bottom of the window. The "handle" on the bottom of the window keeps that plate in place well enough and I only had to plug tiny gap to prevent air escaping. The unit is really simple to operate, not any louder than other AC units, and most vital - my 10,000 btu AC is cooling my entire house from one central room. I hope this lasts a long time, because on my first day using it, I'm glad to give it 6/5 stars. ... show more
