Best solution to portable AC ventilation. Plastic panel that comes from manufacturers are pain to install and doesn’t seal well. Would’ve paid more for a thicker fabric so it would last longer, but would buy again.

OMG!! So glad I stumbled onto this great product for my portable AC. It works so much better than the plastic piece that comes with the unit. Took 10 minutes to install. I love how the hose stays secured and you don’t have to worry about it falling out. You can peel back the Velcro from the window if you need to close the window for any reason. I bought more than one and installed in multiple rooms making my portable AC truly portable.

This universal window kit is a HUGE improvement over the ones that came with my portable air conditioners and way more easier to install. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the none of the strips of velcro backing lined up with the size of my window. I had to fold it a bit at the end to get it to line up. It's too bad they couldn't design it in a way so that you could put the backing on yourself to get it to match your window width exactly. The other thing I noticed is that this lets in more outside noise since it's constructed of fabric. I use it in my bedroom window which is above a busy street. The outside noise is a bit louder now versus using the plastic kit that came with my unit which helped block out more noise. It does the job, though, and I love that if I get a cooler day/night I can detach the fabric from the velcro tape to let the fresh air in, or I can simply pull down the top window. Fabric is very durable and tear proof and should last forever. Have had no issues getting my bedroom cool since using this kit.

Works great if you have one of those god-awful air coditioners with the stupid hose. This product worked swimmingly but holy crap, do yourself a favor and get a proper window unit if you don't have HVAC. Not only is a window unit more reliable and easy to fix, you won't have to fumble with those annoying intake and drainage hoses again.

I love the idea, but the tape didn't stick. Kept coming off the window after trying different ways and still not being able to get it to stick in writing a review. I don't know how you send it back with half the velcro used.

It's not bad, and generally does the job. I just think it's too thin. Maybe do another version that is much thicker, and can absorb heat. So when using a portable AC unit that requires moving hot air out of the room to outside, that heat should not or cannot dissipate back into the room.

Our windows are small so the plastic that comes with the portable ac is slightly too small. I had to cut it and use window insulation tape which would lose its seal during really hot weather, sun and the heat from exhaust. With this I have an easy, perfect seal. I can detach it in seconds from the Velcro and put it back easily if I want to open my window on a nice day. No mess full of sticky residue left behind. Keeps heat out.
