After reading many reviews of small pool vacuums, I decided to purchase the Yousky cordless handheld pool vacuum for my in ground gunite pool. Out of the water it is light, but once in the water it is a little bit heavy. The recharging time is fast ( 2.5 hours) and I am able to vacumm the entire bottom of my pool in about 20 minutes. The 18 gallons per minute suction is what caught my attention and a key point in my purchase. Really sucks up the loose leaves. Just take your time pushing it along the bottom. Not a race. I highly recommend that you take your time in pushing the vacumm across the bottom of the pool. I use my extension pole (16 foot) as my pool is deep and I am not able to walk around the entire pool. The small 69" inch extension pole provided works okay for the shallow end of the pool. The pool vacumm being a little bit heavy (when filled with water) you want to make sure you lift it to go over the pool main drains. You want to change direction, lift it and turn it to where you want to go, set it back on the pool bottom. You take your time. If you have a pile of leaves, lift the vacuum a little bit, set it over the leaves and let it suck them up slowly. To make sure you put the filter bag into the proper slot, I marked a black arrow on the bag and the side of the case inside. That way you get it lined up properly everytime. Also the clear plastic brush housing has a small arrow that matches with an arrow on the main casing. I marked that in black so they line up for easy assembly. That way when you twist the housing it locks properly. Communications with the Yousky Team is outstanding. They are available to answer any questions. I was able to extend my warranty to 1 years by email. Fast and easy. Extremely cooperative. Photos attached shows the bottom of the pool with leaves and then the pool being vacuumed and then clean. A photo of the leaf basket full of leaves. Easy to rinse out with a hose. A photo that shows my pool with the pebble tec bottom and artifical rocks on the bottom. I have a charging port in the garage where I hang the Yousky Vacuum and plug it in. Easy to recharge. Rinse out the unit when done, dry with a cloth. And hang to recharge. This Yousky vacumm is used 100% for the bottom of the pool. I have two large trees near the pool that drops leaves all the time. I do not have any tile along the sides. So I do not use this vacuum for cleaning the walls and tile. Just the floor of the pool. This vacumm replaces an old Pentair Legend In-Pool cleaner. It was always getting tangled and need parts all the time. A few minutes several times a week and I have a nice and clean pool. I stronglu recommend this pool vacuum.

I received the vacuum, I made sure it was charged. I took it outside to clean the pool. Ran it until the battery died or so I thought. Water was bubbling around the charge port. Waited til it was dry and plugged the charger in. It wouldn’t charge the vacuum. The charger works as long as it’s not plugged into the vacuum. The vacuum had 1 use. This was a huge waste of money. Don’t recommend it. It did get the dirt off the bottom of the pool. The charging issue is a huge issue. It makes a ticking sound now. The light would be red when I charged it the first time. Now it doesn’t light up until you unplug it. It sat in the charger all night never charged even a little bit… This company cares about their customers. I have no choice but to change my review. I had a faulty vacuum. It happens. They sent me a new one quick, everything works, the suction worked better than the one that just died on me. My water is crystal clear. It was just one of those things. I have to recommend them because it does work . I give credit where credit is due, I used the new one cleaned the pool ran it until it died then I still waited for the plug to be dry hooked it up and it works like a champ. It’s a really good vacuum.

I bought this product after the vacuum I had failed rather quickly. So far, I am very satisfied with it. It is very solididly built. It is very powerful. It comes with two filters and the plug in connector being water proof is a great idea. It might not be the cheapest one but it is the best value. Again, very well built, powerful, and with many very nice details.

I've had the vacuum for a little over a month now, and I have to say i am very pleased with the results so far. I have a 14 foot 42 inch Summerwave pool, and this vacuum is perfect for keeping it clean. Previously, I would have to use the vacuum provided for the Intex pool, and it was basically useless. The filter system uses paper filters, and the Intex vacuum hose would suck up the debris on the bottom and return it back to the pool thru the inlet. It was very frustrating, and my pool was never completely clean. The Yousky vacuum solved this problem. It has powerful suction, and picks up leaves, debris and fine sand and deposits it in a mesh bag which cleans easily. It's a nice touch that two bags are provided. i also have an Intex portable hot tub, and the vacuum comes in handy for a quick cleaning of the hot tub. Overall, it's been a great vacuum so far, and has been a game changer in keeping my pool and hot tub clean.

Works okay. There was a learning curve with a trick: turn the vacuum upside down before taking it out of the water so the filter doesn’t barf everything back into the water when you turn it off.

I was so excited when I saw this and read the reviews! The first time used after fully charged, it did NOT last 45 minutes but did a great job cleaning the bottom of our pool. The second time used, it only lasted 20 minutes after being fully charged. Took it apart to clean and a screw fell out from somewhere. The third time, after being fully charged, it turned on but had NO suction. Decided to return to Amazon and try a replacement. When I got the replacement, I noticed where the screw came from. Buyer beware! It’s a great product, but they need to do something about the screw falling out!! I’ve read many complaints about the same issue. Like I said, it’s a great product and definitely a game changer when it comes to pool cleaning, but the screw falling out is annoying!!
