Product was delivered yesterday and I charged as instructions requested. After quick assembly, I tried it out on my pools hot tub section. Device has good suction and picked up small leaves, pine needles and sand. I was impressed. The problem comes in when you remove device from water. The device has a single flapper seal at the intake. As you remove the device from the water, a significant portion of the debris that you picked up spills back into the pool. Not a lot of options here. The extension pole provided does not instill confidence. I recommend you use one of your standard metal pool poles. Cleaning is simple. Will likely replace with a bag design next time around. Made a slight modification: Added small filter bag around cone filter. Unit now picks up finest silt. Turn unit off while still in water and receive little or no spill back. 100% a life saver if you have an in ground pool. I had dirt that my pool vacuum or my $850 robot could not pick up. I was sick and tired of it and ordered this as a hail mary. This thing had my pool spotless in 20min. I love love love this product!!!

    • Small but Impressive
This little vacuum really works. The key is slowing down and letting it work. The bottom of our pool always had small amounts of sand and dirt on it that we could feel when we walked around. I could see small disturbances on the bottom in a couple of areas when I would brush the sides. This vacuum took care of that. There is no water hose to attach, which is a huge deal. Literally, attach it to your pool handle, push the power button and you’re ready to go. The handle that’s included is only good to use when we are in the pool and want to walk around with the vacuum, otherwise it’s too short. I use the first specific part of their handle to attach to the vacuum, and then attach my telescoping handle to that, and that works great. Put a little downward pressure on the pole and slowly move it across the bottom. Take your time, enjoy the sunshine, and wholla, clean pool. The bottom of our pool is super clean. It’s compact, stores easily and recharges fully in about 3-4 hours. One charge can easily do our 13 x 26 in-ground pool. It’s better than I thought it would be. ... show more

For what it is ( a light duty, low volume pool vacuum) this device is really good. I tested it on some heavier debris and posted an image to show a single pass result. That single pass picked up so much, it fill 1/4 of the unit. Another 5 minutes and the unit was packed with debris. Point is, it can clean well but it's really meant for light duty occasional and quick cleaning of pools so you don't have to drag out the big long vacuum hose and use your pool pump and filter for simple daily clean up. ... show more

I am very pleased with this pool vacuum. To not have to connect a hose to the pump, and have to disconnect from the pump and start all over just to dump vacuum contents is wonderful. I looked at so many vacuums before settling on this one. I read nearly every single review for this one. The reviews that are negative seem to be people that have not had much experience with pool vacuums or understand how they work. But there are some good reviews here that really helped me make my decision and I’m glad I read those. It is true you will get about 45 minutes to vacuum before it has to be recharged. It turns out to be exactly enough time for me. I added a pic of our pool for reference. It’s an 18x4. Also I prefer to use it without the head attachment. You’ll see in my pic it looks more like a dustbuster without it. I found I got stronger suction using it like that. It’s just a personal preference. I do not use the pole that came with it, so I can’t comment on that. I already had a sturdy aluminum pole that I am putting it on. I will say it’s heavier than I thought it would be, but once it’s in the water it’s fine. I only power it on/off once it’s underwater. Other reviews suggested you are ready to quickly put it over the side when you turn it off so that you don’t lose contents you just vacuumed back into the pool. I haven’t experienced that, but I have followed that suggestion just in case. Connecting it to be charged is very simple and it’s ready to go in four hours. The filter is easily sprayed clean with the water hose. I think for this size pool this is the perfect vacuum. A larger pool would probably need to re-charge to finish the job. ... show more

    • Sparkling POOL!!
This is a mighty machine. Looks small and fragile... but takes care of the bottom pretty good. Our pool is clean, again and my older son loves to vacuum it which is less work for me : ) The head is small but as long as it does the job - I don't mind the small footprint. Delivery was very fast - got it the 2nd day in good packing thru UPS. Thank you! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We purchased this 5 months ago in May. Lasted all summer and still working great! We use it daily right now because the leaves are falling. It picks up large leaves and tiny sand. It has saved us from lugging the huge tube vacuum out, or buying the expensive drop in cleaners. Would buy again ... show more
