  • Works very well.
This vacuum works very well for me. It has excellent suction and I have no problem cleaning my 24' circular pool on a single charge. The charging port is a bit awkward but would not prevent me from purchasing again. However....I had some very fine silt in the bottom of the pool because when I installed a new sand filter I didn't backwash it well enough before using it the first time. The Pool Blaster sucked it up easily but it was so fine that it went through the catch bag and right back into the pool even after using the additional fine collection sock. I had to put my sand filter on waste flush and use my old vacuum system to suck it up and expel it from the pool but for normal dirt and small debris it was excellent at picking it up. The catch bag is fine for normal cleaning but if you have a lot of leafs it will fill quickly and require a lot of emptying. I have a large tree in close proximity to my pool so I know. I just decided to buy a vac designed specifically for leafs to avoid the aggravation. Being able to avoid turning the filter off, disconnecting the skimmer, connecting the vacuum hose, turning the filter back on and then reversing the whole process when done was a nice plus. Hopefully it lasts a long time and if it does I won't hesitate to purchase again when necessary. ... show more

  • Great Vacuum Power
Works awesome! We have a concrete pool and it does a great job! Battery life is about an hour and a half. It is easy to use and clean out!

  • $200 junk with no warranty!
I purchased the Pool Blaster Millennium less than a year ago, using it about once a month. Despite reading reviews warning of a short battery life, I decided to give it a try—how bad could it be? Initially, I was pleased. Straight out of the box, the suction was strong, and I felt satisfied with my choice. However, by the six-month mark, the battery life began to shorten, and the suction power declined noticeably. To my surprise, by the eighth month, the unit completely stopped working. It won't even charge, and now the battery dies within 15 seconds. I attempted to reach the seller, but received no response—there’s no phone number, and no warranty information beyond the generic note on Amazon: “Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website.” Had I purchased a different brand, I would have been covered by a standard one-year manufacturer warranty. Unfortunately, this product offers no such protection. ... show more

  • Great spot cleaner for pool.
The pool blaster was really easy to put together. It does come with pole sections that connect together, but the pool blaster itself is a little on the heavy side. So I personally decided to use my own metal pool pole instead. The operator’s manual was short, simple, and easy to understand. A few things I really liked. The pool blaster has really good suction. It doesn’t take up much room to store like other cleaners. A few things to consider before buying: you have to push it very slowly because it tends to push around the debris at the bottom of the pool. It takes a long time to charge. The charge doesn’t last long enough to clean a whole pool. The suction part isn’t shaped well to get around the drains on the bottom of the pool or the corners of the pool. When the filter bag gets dirty, the suction stops. I had to stop four times and clean the filter inside and out before starting to clean again. I do believe though this is a good little vacuum. If you really just need to spot clean then it’s perfect. ... show more

  • Great vacuum; cruddy pole and charging port
NEWEST UPDATE: I’m officially knocking off another star for quality. The bottom vacuum head has become misshapen and no longer glides easily on the bottom of the pool. While rinsing it out after my last use, I noticed that the sealant/glue on the black rubber flap had come off on one side so that the flap no longer functions like it should. I just tried marine sealant to glue the spot where it attaches, so we will see how that works. I got online to just replace the entire head, but it’s actually comprised of two parts: the clear plastic part with the flap and the blue bottom head. To replace both of these, it would be about $60ish. Do I think it’s worth replacing these on a vacuum I spent $130 on and haven’t even made it through a whole pool season? Probably not. It looks like the price is a lot higher now for a new one but I know for sure if I replaced it, it would NOT be with another Millenium. I’m not entirely sure I would purchase another Pool Blaster. UPDATE: I’ve been using this pretty regularly since we bought it. Our pool is about 11x32 (9000 gallons) and I can clean the bottom, bump outs, and the steps two separate times just on one charge. We have no trees in our backyard (nor do our neighbors) so most of the debris in our pool is from blowing dirt/clay, bugs, and pollen. I’m actually so content with this that we decided not to spend $1500 on a corded vacuum for the pool this season. I don’t love scrubbing the waterline but it honestly doesn’t take long as long as I regularly do it. My biggest annoyance with the Pool Blaster is cleaning it out after each use but that was going to be an annoyance with any vacuum. I will say that had I known this was going to work as our sole vacuum, I probably would have bought a higher model but I’m fine with what we have. Even if it only lasts one season, it’s still money well-spent. PREVIOUS REVIEW: After purchasing an Aiper Scuba S1 and finding out it won’t clean steps or ledges, we decided to grab a pool blaster to clean them ourselves. We have the old style vacuum that is, to be frank, a pita to set up and use. I wanted something I could pop in to the water quickly and clean up steps as we have a lot of dirt and debris that end up in our pool from construction in the area. We have two steps and 2 seats, as well as a tanning ledge. The Pool Blaster does require that it is completely submerged to work, so unfortunately it does not work on cleaning our tanning ledge. I put it through its paces after we discovered our Aiper Scuba doesn’t actually clean anything at all (0/10, do not recommend) and left a ton of debris in the pool. I used the Pool Blaster to clean the entire pool and it did so on one charge. The pool looks the cleanest it’s ever been! My only caveats (and why I removed one star) are that the included pole sucks, and it’s ridiculously hard to plug in to charge and turn on/off (especially if you have acrylic nails on). I recommend using the long metal pole you likely have from your pool cleaning kit instead of their wobbly plastic one. We are planning on buying another robotic pool vacuum at some point but until we find one we like, this bad boy is more than enough to get us by. I obviously can’t speak to the longevity yet, but will update if that changes. ... show more

  • This rechargeable cleaner is powerful and Awesome!
I used to use the manual “spa wand” to clean grit & leaves from the hot tub & shallow end, it worked but was tedious. I found this and decided to give it a try. It’s powerful and does an amazing job with very little user effort. Really long battery life without fading out, and the filter catches even the really small debris. The extension handle makes it really easy to use. Be sure to empty and rinse it after use, and it’s best to set the filter basked aside to fully dry so it doesn’t grow mold inside the unit. Do that and this thing will likely last for years. Highly recommend. ... show more
