  • Great TV, shipping times/day inconsistent
Size: 85-Inch Style: TV Only
Great quality TV for a good price. Sound quality is great, at least compared to the Toshiba it replaced. Mounting was easier than expected. Very happy with this TV. If there's one minor complaint it's that three delivery date was set for July 6th. This needs a signature so sometime has to be there for it. I took that day off to receive it. On July 3rd the freight company (Pilot) called and said it would be a 7-10am delivery window on July 7th. My girlfriend took that day off to be home for it. They didn't actually show up until nearly 5pm, so she could have gone to work that day. That was the only hitch in the whole thing. ... show more

  • We Love Samsung TVs!
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
This Samsung 50 inch QLED Q8 Smart TV has been an excellent purchase. It is sooo easy to set up right out of the box. The remote is good and easy to use, and the on screen directions are helpful. The screen is good and easy to adjust, and it is a great value for the cost. This is the second Samsung TV we have purchased this year. Although this one had to be a little smaller to fit where we were placing it, it is just as excellent a product as our bigger one. It works well with our Dish Network, Sony Blu-ray player, Samsung Soundbar, and streaming apps. ... show more

  • Great video...meh sound...until you add a sound bar...
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
I decided it was time to replace my 20 year old Sony 52" TV, and upgrade to today's smart TV technology. As with most consumer electronics, the quality and features continually advance at any given price point. No exception here...I paid hundreds less for this Samsung 55" smart TV than I did for that Sony 20 years ago. And what a difference in quality, resolution, colors, and overall capability...wonderful and wondrous to behold. This is "only" a mid-range Samsung, but it is still impressive. My one nit pick was with the sound...it was seriously lacking in depth and richness...i.e., it was just adequate for watching the news, or such. I solved that with an add-on Samsung sound bar. Now the sound matches the picture in quality. But even with the basic sound, you won't go wrong with this one...and you can always add that sound bar (and it doesn't HAVE to be a Samsung, either). ... show more

  • Good TV
Size: 32-Inch Style: TV Only
Very nice TV overall. If you are in the market for a smaller TV, don't hesitate to pull the trigger on this one. This is my first Samsung TV. I have only gone with Sony or LG in the past. This Samsung has a very nice picture quality and relatively easy set up. Samsung also includes a lot of included apps including Samsung TV. So if you are without cable or other paid subscription service, you can access some very nice content through the Samsung App. Paired this TV with the affordable Samsung S60D soundbar for a very nice second TV. Very happy with this set up so far. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG TVS IN AMAZON, WARRANTY IS TERRIBLE AS WELL AS SERVICE
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV Only
I would present it this way: I purchased a new Samsung television through Amazon. The television experienced a major panel failure approximately two months after delivery. Samsung confirmed the defect. Two authorized technicians came to my home. The only remedy offered was removal of my nearly new television for approximately two weeks to replace the display panel. I believe a television suffering a catastrophic panel failure shortly after purchase should be replaced rather than undergo a major repair. Respevctfully requested a replacement, both in writing and telephonically and was denied: Request for Replacement of Defective Samsung Q8F 65" TV To Samsung Customer Relations, I am writing to request review and escalation of my warranty claim concerning my Samsung 65" Q8F 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV (Model QN65Q8FAAFXZA, Serial No. 0JUJ3CXYC00802X), purchased new from Amazon on February 20, 2026. Approximately two months after purchase, the television developed a significant display defect consisting of a large black area across the screen. The defect substantially impairs the normal use and enjoyment of the television and is plainly inconsistent with the quality a consumer reasonably expects from a new premium television. I promptly contacted both Amazon and Samsung. After completing the requested troubleshooting, Samsung determined that service was required and dispatched authorized technicians to my home. The technicians confirmed that the television required repair and advised that the unit would have to be removed from my home for approximately two weeks. They also informed me that they were authorized only to repair the television and had no authority to replace it. While I appreciate Samsung's willingness to honor its warranty obligations, I respectfully submit that repairing a television that suffered a major panel failure after only two months of normal residential use is not an appropriate resolution. Replacing the display panel is effectively replacing the television's primary and most valuable component. A consumer who purchases a new premium television should not reasonably expect such a significant failure almost immediately after purchase. Although I understand that the written warranty may permit Samsung to elect repair, replacement, or refund, I respectfully request that Samsung exercise its discretion to authorize a replacement as a matter of fairness, customer satisfaction, and good faith. This request is also consistent with the principles underlying the implied warranty of merchantability recognized under the Uniform Commercial Code as adopted in most states. A product should be fit for its ordinary purpose and free from substantial defects that manifest shortly after purchase. A catastrophic panel failure within approximately sixty days raises legitimate concerns that the product was not of merchantable quality at the time of sale. I have acted in good faith throughout this process, promptly reported the defect, cooperated with Samsung's diagnostic procedures, and made the television available for inspection by Samsung's authorized service providers. Accordingly, I respectfully request that Samsung: Replace the television with a new equivalent model; or Provide another comparable remedy that does not require extensive repair of a television that failed shortly after purchase. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and amicably. If a replacement cannot be authorized at the customer service level, I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed by Samsung Executive Customer Relations or another department with authority to approve an exception. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. I contacted Amazon: Subject: Request for Amazon Assistance with Defective Samsung TV Purchased on February 20, 2026 Dear Amazon Customer Service, I am requesting Amazon's assistance regarding a Samsung television that I purchased through Amazon on February 20, 2026. The product is a Samsung 65" Q8F 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV (2025). Approximately two months after purchase, the television developed a major display defect consisting of a large black area across the screen. This was not caused by accidental damage or misuse. The defect appeared during normal residential use. Following Amazon's instructions, I contacted Samsung. Samsung's troubleshooting confirmed that service was required, and two authorized service technicians came to my home. Both technicians confirmed the defect and advised that the television would need to be removed from my home for approximately two weeks so that the display panel could be replaced. While I appreciate Samsung honoring its warranty, I do not believe that replacing the primary component of a television that failed after only two months of ownership is an appropriate resolution for a premium product purchased new through Amazon. I am respectfully requesting Amazon's assistance in reaching a fair resolution. I am not seeking special treatment. Rather, I believe a television that experiences a catastrophic display failure shortly after purchase should be replaced instead of undergoing major warranty repair. I have always trusted Amazon because of its commitment to customer satisfaction, and I hope Amazon can advocate on my behalf with Samsung or otherwise assist in resolving this matter. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, WAIST OF MY TIME. ... show more

  • Great picture and sound. Remote if very responsive!
Size: 32-Inch Style: TV Only
A great TV for a bedroom. The picture and sound are great, and the remote is very responsive. It was a little annoying to have to sign up for a Samsung account before I could do much. But once I did, it was great. All the apps seem to run through that app, but you get a bunch of free stuff with it. Though adding new apps was a little difficult because it didn't have a app button to just simply push add. But I eventually was able to get that set up. The last thing is, I want to hang this on a wall mount and you have to buy the exact size screws to make this work. It's an odd size but amazon sells it for this exact TV for $7 It would be nice if they could include that for the price we paid. But overall, I'm happy with the TV ... show more

  • Very pleased Thus Far with this Purchase
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
Just had this set delivered and unpacked.. I chose the delivery and unpacking option, which was convenient (and only required perhaps, a solid twenty minutes). Still getting aclimated to this model (particularly since settings are quite a bit different than my older model, which was a 46 inch Samsung. 50 inch was just a bit more suitable for my needs than going with a slightly larger 55 inch model. Colors look considerably better (lol, and they should right?), in comparison to my previous LED model (which I ran continuously, without experiencing any hiccups other than my allowing a screen burn to work itself in). It will require a day or two to get accustomed to the settings layout, obviously, but thus far, I'm quite satisfied overall. Disappointed however, with the remote, because I got used to the luxury of pressing one button to switch back to a previous channel, which this solar cell remote doesn't support (and yes, I've researched all kinds of online 'so-called' solutions to this which haven't worked). No problem with hooking up the Samsung soundbar (that I had purchased for my previous Samsung TV, roughly 5-6 years back) and it works just fine. Price wise, I am comfortable with what I paid and quite glad I took the time to look over a couple dozen similar models (some which were more alluring, but cost considerably more). So far, so good. Update: It's been a couple months now and I'm still very much liking this purchase. This certainly improves (considerably), over my previous 46 inch Samsung tv, making watching television more enjoyable. Still happy with my purchase decision. Took several days to get accustomed to the various settings, which differed from my older Samsung, but that's to be expected. Too bad the remote doesn't have a previous channel button that my previous tv remote had, but it is what it is. I upgraded my older Samsung sound bar to the Q600F and placed it on my electric fireplace directly in front of my tv. Barely had room, but it fits. Unfortunately, the sound bar was just high enough that it interfered with my tv remote. So, I purchased the AX WABER Universal TV Stand (AX10TB02), which was priced nicely, is certainly sturdy to the feel, well packaged and fully capable of holding several size tvs. Installing this stand appears simple and straight forward (you'll need a Phillips head screw driver however). I paused on installing the tv stand because I noted that the two sets of holes on the back of the tv (where you mount the stand's brackets which then attach to the stand's legs), just didn't seem wide enough apart. The tv is roughly 43 inches across yet one pair holes was 16 1/2 inches from the left edge of the tv while the other side was 18 1/2 inches in from the other edge. The spacing between both sets of holes is only 8 1/2 inches apart, which seems kind of odd. One would think that the placement of those holes would have been further apart (i.e. 10 1/2 to 12 inches or so). Though the weight of the tv isn't an issue, the fact that the legs on my tv stand would only be 8 1/2 inches apart (given the width of the tv), kind of raises an eyebrow. The tv's rear side is flat, so why Samsung didn't space the rear holes wider apart seems a tiny bit puzzling. They may do the job as intended, but it still seems odd. In the meantime, I set the tv on a riser to resolve the issue where my soundbar was interfering with my tv remote. Although the riser is 7 inches high (about three inches higher than what I needed), it works. Still very much recommend this tv (and the AX WABER TV Stand (AX10TB02)), as well. update number 2: Let's face it, most of us don't exactly focus our tv purchase decisions on where the mounting holes on the back of a tv are. Granted, some folks may do so, but most folks, including me, don't. Although I prefer to install the AX Waber tv top stand (which I previously mentioned), I only held off doing so because Samsung chose to space the mounting holes on the back of the tv only 8.5 inches apart. I attached a photo here, laying down a couple pencils to give you an idea where Samsung's rear sets of holes are located. Visually, it just seems odd that Samsung would space those rear side holes only 8.5 inches apart (as opposed to something like 12-14 inches apart in view of the tv's width). It's only my personal observation, but 8.5 inches apart just doesn't exactly inspire an abundance of confidence in mounting a tv top type stand. It may work fine to attach my stand to it, but visually, that 8.5 inch distance still leaves a tiny bit of doubt. Overall, I still enjoy the tv (and my Samsung Q600F soundbar), however. While Samsung's standard tv legs are nicely and proportionately spaced out, which is great for most display needs, Samsung didn't apply that same logic to spacing out the rear side mounting holes on this tv (in my opinion). Something that some customers might consider. ... show more
