I am 63 years old and I have arthritis in my hand and my shoulder and at the thought of having to get out my traditional pool vacuum with the giant tubing and getting it all set up was not something I was looking forward to this year. I bought this product and I am here to tell you it is amazing! I charged it up for four hours put it on my regular pole that I would use for my regular vacuum head and popped it in the pool and in 20 minutes it was cleaner than with a regular pool vacuum. It captured all those fine particles that settle on the bottom, it was easy to push And easy to use. If I could give this more than five stars I would. I never write reviews, but I had to write this because this is the best product I purchased for my pool and Me! It is worth every penny and I just bought the regular one for about the same price as the ultra is going for. Trust me… If you hate vacuuming your pool, you will love this product.

This vacuum is small, slender and very lightweight. It is easy to attach to either the accompanying handle or to your longer pool rod and easy to disassemble for quick cleaning. We have trees near our pool and use the vacuum daily to remove debris from trees and leaves. I can have the pool cleaned completely in less than 20 minutes. It easily removes the leaves and the environmental debris extremely well.

I recently had a pool filter grid tear and filter media ended up in the bottom of my pool. Sweeping and hoping the filter would eventually pick it up resulted in failure. I tried this little vac with great success. It’s like a submersible dust buster vac. The the only downside is its size. The filter picks up the smallest particles but because of its small size it clogs quickly and you lose suction. You quickly rinse it out and you’re back in business. I emptied/rinsed the filter about a dozen times before I got an area about 10’ by 10’ cleaned up. Now my pool is sparkling clean. I would definitely recommend. Just remember to keep That filter clean. Battery life seems adequate.

So far so good. I have only used the vacuum twice but have been VERY satisfied. The suction is good and the filter that comes with it is a lower micron so it picks up silt and sand. I ordered an additional filter because some earlier reviews advised that the included filter let small debris through. I don't know if the company changed that, but the filter included with mine has been great.

I bought this pool blaster to help me keep small leaves out of my pool. I waited to write my review after the fall/winter months since this is the heaviest time of falling leaves. I have mainly small oak leaves. The blasted sucked up the small leaves good, but-the leaves clogged up the neck of the blaster and the flap would not close. Therefore the leaves and debris fall back into the pool when pulling the blaster out of the pool. Constantly have to unclog despite the filter not being full. Really disappointed with leaf pickup. Picks up dirt and small debris easily. Wouldn’t purchase if main goal is leaf pickup.

Our pool doesn't filter out the fine particulates that get blown in from the beach, and I hate dragging out the hose. Our pool isn't very big, so this little guy was super convenient. It took about 20 minutes to vacuum the whole pool and cleaning the filter was easy. All of the silt gets caught in the filter and not just pushed back into the water like our pool filter does. I was looking g at a $600 pool cleaner at first, but so far am glad I went with this one. Great value.

This is working a lot better at vacuuming than my robot. Vacuum does in the pool. Section is great and will pick up about anything off of the floor of the pool. It does tend to float up so it’s take some work to keep it on the bottom of the pool. Works best if you can walk around with it while in the pool. If you have sticks or leaves, they will get stuck in the flap and cause it not to seal, but that’s OK. You can just grab them and pull them right back out.

This thing is pretty good. Every spring getting pool ready to swim after putting in chemicals and shock I always have fine dirt, silt, and some debris on bottom that my automatic pool cleaner doesn't get as it is too fine of particles. This Catfish Ultra works very well and saves me a great deal of time and water. In the past I would get out my manual pool cleaning hose and head and vacuum to waste to remove the fine particles. This Catfish Ultra works very well and saves me a great deal of time and water. After fully charging I hooked it to my current standard pole turned on and in less than 10 minutes cleaned the debris. It truly saved me a bunch of time and water.
