Really works better than expected really great to have around for daily touch ups. On the down side the handle/pole is a big joke. unless your pool is 3 feet all around it is useless it is flimsy and to short by 4/5 feet. It will work if yo get in pool (lowest end) and walk with it... Next it is to buoyant could use a little more weight to the front.... have to really keep constant pressure on aluminum pool pole (not included and requires a separate purchase if you don't already have one) to keep in down... especially in deep end.... Cant give it 5 Stars because of these issues...over all good product. ... show more

    • CLEAN POOL W/OUT USING THE FILTER
I bought this for our 30' x 15' oval above ground pool. We bought a replacement liner a couple of years ago and unfortunately had people who didn't know what they were doing install it. We were left with a pool that has numerous liner wrinkles on the bottom. We've been living with the wrinkles but have had to deal with the silty debris constantly collecting in them. We have been using the vacuum attached to the filter and, although it works, it has become a tedious chore when the pool stays relatively clean except for the wrinkle debris. We looked at the cordless robotic pool cleaners but the cost was absurd for what we actually needed. I found and bought this item and received it very promptly two days ago. It works perfectly for our needs at a much more reasonable cost. My only complaint would be with the flimsy plastic pole extensions that came with it---hence the 4 stars. I have ordered a metal vacuum replacement pole from Amazon that has several pieces to adjust to various lengths for added versatility. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. ... show more

I am not big on reviewing items but this one is worth it. I have a18x36 unground pool that is 21 years old. I have always use Chlorine tablets and shock to sanitize the water. Last year I converted to salt system. Best decision I have ever made regarding the pool. The only problem is the salt that I buy is only 99% pure leaving 1% white sand which does not dissolve but stays on the bottom of the pool and mixes with other trash. This vacuum, when used with my pole worked wonders on removing this sand. I had a year and a half worth of salt laying on the bottom of my pool and this vacuum picked up all of it. I did have to clean the bag out about 5 times but this was easy to do with a garden hose. Works great for my hot tube also. Make sure you only turn it on after it is fully submerged. You can tell when the bag is full when it stops sucking. This vacuum is not meant to pick up heavy algae on the bottom such as when you first open your pool. (Come on, it’s only a small bag inside the vacuum.) Another thing, when you charge this vacuum, don’t over charge it. It does not have a smart charging system that cuts the charger off when the battery is fully charged. You will cook your battery if left to charge too long after the green light comes on.     • Pretty "sucky" little vacuum!
Don't be fooled by my play on words, in that title, this thing has been awesome for what I needed. I have a 14×42 above ground pool, and have struggled for about 2 years now with getting fine dirt and sand off of the pool floor. My regular pool vac that I use with the pool filter wasn't getting the job done. I finally decided that I needed a REAL vacuum that works independently from the filter, and found this. I discovered later that the fine dirt was sand being expelled from my filter, but that's another issue. This vacuum cleans my pool in about 20-30 minutes, sometimes less, depending on the level of dirt. It really does get the fine and stubborn dirt/powdery stuff that's so difficult to remove. It Takes about 3 hours to charge, and I am able to clean the pool on one charge, but as stated before, I have a smaller pool. Also, the cotton ball trick to really trap the dirt works great! The only problem is that that the pole it comes with could be a bit sturdier and longer. I was able to connect a longer telescoping pole that I had though. Very satisfied! ... show more

    • Great little vacuum
Great little vacuum for quick clean ups. Lightweight. My kids use it with no trouble. Quick charging and last long enough to clean 24 ft above ground pool that gets almost daily use. I was really surprised how well it works. The only con is how often You have to clean out the sock/filter but I guess should be expected for the size of the vacuum. That would be the only reason I may consider upgrading next year but so far am very pleased with this one. ... show more

This vacuum works great in the shallow end of the pool, but my pool is 8 feet deep and it cuts off at about 5 feet. I'm not sure why, but it does not adapt to the deeper water unless I'm doing something wrong. Still works great for the shallow end so I will keep this. Also, I used my own extension rod as the plastic one provided is junk. ... show more

Product is nice. It could use more battery life - some times 45 minutes isn't enough time for swimming pool size. Then to recharge it is 4 hours... that is a long time to wait to complete vacuuming. Needs better instructions how to hold it when you take it out to empty the "filter" not knowing I dumped the particles back into the swimming pool. Overall, now that I have used it - I would recommend this product - but, offer caution on the battery life and the cleaning process. ... show more
