Purchased 5 ukuleles. One out of five ukuleles was okay... the other 4 had problems. Each had a problem. Fret too high, bridge too low, all 5 were high action. Strings going out of tune is not true. These are nylon strings, so after a week of playing, the strings get a chance to atre, they stayed in tune. Sound is a bit tin can sound. Not bad for a beginner. Maybe could be the stings, will replace with a warmer sounding strings in the near future.

This was for my son turning three. He was super excited and started to play around right away. The size is perfect for a kid 40", the color is the classical wood brown, the strings are soft enough for kids fingers but makes perfect sound. I am not a guitar player, while I tried to learn years ago, and I know how the strings hurt my fingers... Strings of this ukulele won't hurt your fingers I promise. We watched a short video of playing wheels on the bus with ukulele, and were able to sing together with my sone right away. Kid loved so much! Worth the money, strongly recommended. Here are some specific reasons that I liked it as a grownup: - sound quality, for sure - soft strings (i don't know what they are made of) - reasonable price, I see may ukulele on amazon priced over $50 - came with a little black case - last but not the least, my son loved it :) If I have to tell a drawback, I wish it has a belt. That could make it easier for kids to handle. Well, If your kid is bigger, should be fine too.

I was reluctant to buy this for my daughter. I had actually recently purchased her a guitar that she begged for, but that didn't last long. BUT she loves this ukulele!!. It's an amazing quality instrument. easy to play. stays in tune. and has a nice happy sound. If she keeps going like this, it will be time to upgrade in a few months. She's gone from not knowing anything about ukuleles, to playing several songs using the great different apps she has found. I feel it is fairly sturdy, although a healthy respect for the care of instruments is always wise. I highly recommend this for getting started with the ukulele for kids and adults alike, it is a great choice.

The media could not be loaded. Ukulele is exactly 23 inches length (as I saw in the description). I like Ukuleles since they’re perfect for anyone starting learning, and also if the perfect match for festivities where we bring our own musical instruments. The Ukulele description in this page matched the Ukulele I received. Comes in his own carton box in Ukulele shape, in my opinion if you want to gift just add some gift wrapping paper. Inside the Ukulele carton box arrived the instrument plus carrying pouch case. This is as I read cultural in Hawaii. And also read many other places uses different Ukelele style or small guitars as part of cultural folklore. Thanks this culture we have this practical guitar to continue our learning musical journey. Value the money paid for it.
