Negative and stressful experience: the wireless connection is unreliable and needs to be reset often to function normally. Just a few days of using them, and the microphone stopped working. The noise isolation of the microphone was the main reason I got them, and the mic doesn`t even work. Even when I reported the issue and tried to initialize the process to return them, it was denied. I wasted my money and the stress and hassle, not worthed ... I will keep looking for another headset to use for work. ... show more

After 2 years of working from home I finally caved and bought this headset after a recommendation off NYT Wirecutter. I have zero complaints! This headset is comfortable to wear for multiple hours and the audio quality is clear. The noise cancellation isn’t my favorite but it does a good job in certain scenarios. I love that I can pair it to my phone and computer at the same time for seamless switching. The headset also has a decent battery life and I don’t find that I’m charging it often. ... show more

So far, it's great. I use it to work from home. My work PC disallows using Bluetooth, so I was unsure if these would work. From what I understand, they're a proprietary Bluetooth standard between the headphones and the included Bluetooth adapter. But because of that, it does work with my work PC. The headphones also work with standard Bluetooth, so it works with my Android phone, too. The noise canceling works amazing. Can barely hear around me in noisey situations. Sick of working from home, so working from public places. Can hear everyone on calls without issue in noisey situations. I've asked in noisey situations if they could hear all the background noise and everytime they say no, other than you talking, your dead quiet from your microphone. So, I used to have a Plantronics Voyager Focus UC. The headset offered all of the features I needed: Simultaneous connections to 2 devices, mute button on the mic boom, and it's reversible. Too bad that Plantronics used cheap plastic...the connection to the earpiece broke off, so I needed to replace it. To that end, I bought this Poly Voyager Focus. Same features, and it seems to be built better. The problem is that Poly's firmware for the headset SUCKS. While connected to the included bluetooth dongle, the headset will randomly disconnect for no apparent reason, and reconnect shortly. This is especially frustrating when I'm on a meeting and the audio suddenly drops out because the headset can't stay connected. If I plug it in to my PC with a USB cable, the microphone will randomly drop out. I've been speaking, and suddenly it cuts out, and comes back a few seconds later. The Bluetooth connection to my other PC's built-in Bluetooth is completely reliable and stable...EXCEPT ... remember how I said the mute button on the boom was one of those features that I NEEDED? Guess what DOES NOT WORK when connected to Bluetooth? The MUTE BUTTON. When using Discord voice chat, if I want to mute myself, the button does NOTHING. It ONLY works when the headset is connected to the dongle. The other frustrating thing is that Poly redesigned the dimensions of the headset. I HAVE a charging dock for the Plantronics Voyager Focus, so I didn't feel the need to buy the dock WITH the headset. Big mistake...this headset will NOT fit in the Plantronics charging dock. I know, I know...it's a different headset. I looked at the pictures and saw that the docking bits looked EXACTLY the same, so changing the dock size was kind of a jerk move on Poly's part....like, "This design works great. Just make it SMALLER so that people HAVE to buy a new charging dock!" I'm not going to talk about the audio quality, or the noise cancellation...those are all great. Time will tell if the metal head band stays connected to the plastic bits on the earpiece...I DID purchase the protection plan so if it breaks, I can at least get it replaced. In the mean time, Poly has quite a bit of work to do on the dongle and headset firmware to make it ACTUALLY work satisfactorily. ... show more

These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is crisp and clear. The charging stand is simple and easy to use. I tried some of the generic other brands for computer headphones but the quality was so much lower than these. These have a way better battery life and Bluetooth connectivity
