The bistro set arrived early! It's a lovely petite set; just right for the small space allowed at my 95-year-old parents apartment. The seats were the perfect size for their small frames and heights (5' 2 ish"). they were absolutely delighted that their feel can touch the ground! It was relatively easy to assemble this set, although the instructions were a bit cryptic. The tools you need come with the set; the small pieces of hardware were labeled and packaged perfectly! Very nice! The quality is definitely there. It is sturdy and priced very well. It is not a cheapo. I am super happy with it. I read some reviews that it was too small, but I think it is a perfect size and I am not tiny by any means. If I had to say one bad thing, it would be that some pieces have some small burrs, but nothing that can't be knocked down. It was nice to assemble. I did it by myself fairly quickly. I was taking my time and have just over an hour in it. I would recommend using a mover's blanket to be able to set things out and not scratch anything, a 4mm T handle Allen wrench for the studs, a 10mm and 13mm socket with ratchet wrench, a box knife or scissors to cut tape open, and a Phillips screwdriver. The tools supplied are crap and will make for a longer assembly time. Just be careful to not overtighten anything. Another nice thing is that small cushions are harder to find, but my slightly larger ones still fit and are just fine. I am sitting at it writing this review! ... show more

I chose this set to create more living space on my narrow 48” wide front porch. It fits perfectly and the chairs are quite comfortable, although I added 15.5” x 16” cushions to personalize for color and style. The set was securely packaged and I appreciated that the various hardware was individually wrapped and clearly marked. Set up was simple and I was able to do on my own, definitely a one person job. My only criticism is that the aesthetic plastic covers for 2 of the screws were loose and kept falling off. This was easily fixed with some tacky glue. ... show more

I like the size of the set. It looks awesome on our little patio. However, the 7' umbrella and stand I ordered are not working well with this table. It has tipped numerous times. Use a smaller umbrella, I guess. Even though the description says a 7' umbrealla will work. The table does not have levels on the legs, so make sure you find a very level area for it. And if you are a larger person, or have any back issues, the chairs are not very comfortable. Overall, the set looks nice, but it may not be large enough for some people. ... show more

    • Ran into an assembly issue

Took longer than it should to assemble. The issue was the threaded studs for the seat legs wouldn’t set all the way into the threaded holes on seat bottom. When I went to tighten the nuts the stud popped out. I could see a bit of metal in the threads of the stud. It seemed the threaded holes weren’t done properly, deep enough or something IDK. Fortunately I have a “tap and die” set and was able to clean up the threads and cut them deeper so the studs set firmly. The nuts torqued down as they should now seats are nice and stable. This took an extra hour to fix and redo the work I had already done following the directions. If I didn’t have this specialized tool and knowledge how to use it. I would have ended up packing it up for a return. The table went together without a hitch. I got the bronze finish. It would have been nice if the exposed fasteners had a matching finish instead of the shiny chrome. It looks odd. I’m going to get some paint to match to cover it up Other than that it looks great. Perfect fit for my three season porch Was the issue with the seats a one off? Lucky me got the one with a manufacturing defect? I don’t know. But based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend for anyone who doesn’t have the tools or skills Speaking of tools only the Allen wrench it came with worked. This set is sturdy. The box arrived on time and in good condition. It’s Ready To Assemble. Use your own tools. The little combination Phillips head and Flat tip screw driver was just to small along with the wrench. A socket set and wrench set makes assembly go faster. All the parts were included and the instructions had pictures and written instructions. The only issue I had assembly wise, was the table top. The machine screws had a hard time going in since the threads were painted. But other than that, everything fit together perfectly. There were a few scuff marks, but no chipping of paint. I will update on the paint after it sits pout in the sun a few months. The table is large enough for two place sittings and people. I would recommend. We are currently redoing our patio and got this set to go in one corner. It was sturdier than I thought it would be. My husband put it together and it was fairly easy to do. I don't love the cushion material but they are comfortable and I do like the color. The table is a very pretty design. We got the bronze color to match our other patio furniture.
