This is a wonderful lift! We live in an Victorian farmhouse with an antique claw foot tub. None of the other bath lifts would raise high enough to reach the top edges. This lift goes another inch higher than we needed making it even easier for my husband to get in and out. The instructions are terrible so you need to play with it after assembly to understand how the back lies down. Assembly directions aren't very clear but thank heavens it is easy enough to figure out how it goes together. Light enough to lift in and out of the tub. Very pleased with this product.

My mom likes to take baths vs. a shower and this was a game changer for her. A lot of the care givers that come to assist her had never seen this before. This is a a quality product that helps with taking a bath vs. installing a new tub with a door.

Works very well. Chair design Ian’s function are great. Would be great as a permanent chair in a tub but very difficult to remove if you have a standard size tub. There are six suction cups that are darn near impossible to remove without tools especially ones in the middle.

The suction cups did not hold and the chair tipped with my daughter in it thank god that 2 of us could lift her out before she got hurt can this be sent back?

This product has greatly improved my husband’s ability to bathe privately and independently. He is a large man (6ft/215 lbs). He had L4/L5 back repair/fusion. This device easily handles his weight (up and down). It stops at his desired level for showering and brings him back up to exit the shower. We have a standard tub, and there is no problem fitting this in the standard tub. The recline on the seat has him a little forward in the tub but from there he can easily reach the shower water controls. He is using a hand head shower wand. The additional height of the chair allows him to stand aided with ‘other bars’ we installed as a push point. We love this device. I also use it to lower him to the floor or get him from the floor as needed.

Platinum Health Tranquilo Premium Electric Bath Lift with Padded, SAFESWIVEL Rotating SEAT has been a game changer! Not even the hospital knew of nor has this bath seat and the staff were excited when they saw what we got for home use and planned to get one! It's even portable enough to take along with us. We got it for our paraplegic preteen after his spinal fusion + growth spurt. No more lifting him into/out of the tub for us, and no more climbing in/out for him. It's not too cumbersome for kids, and will continue to fit into adulthood. The rotating seat makes transferring easy as turning is easy. The included grip cloth (basicly bumpy grip used under rugs) keeps him from slipping during bathing. It lowers smoothly down very low so he can actually submerge and soak his lower body, which is much better than just spraying off with a shower head. The recline feature is so ideal as well to get whatever incline you require. The price point made it possible for us to buy it as well as insurance considered it "a luxury". I highly recommend this!
