I use this to sleep at work between jobs and so it is on a concreate floor. it is a nice buffer when it is laid out as a queen, but if you fold it in half and get 6 inches of thickness it is even better, it is a little short for 5'6 my feet hang off but it is worth it. It was easy to put away into the bag that is provided to store it in. don't pull to hard on the straps provided, I did and broke one of the clasps but even with just one strap it worked fine. I wasn't able to get it to fold up so small that I can store it under anything but if it were at home I could shove it into a closet

I love it! I purchased a queen-size pink Japanese mattress. I’ve been eyeing a few for a while and finally decided to go with this one—primarily for the color and secondly for the comfort. The size in the picture doesn’t do it justice; it’s a great fit for me since it’ll be just me and my cat sleeping here! The full thickness hasn’t set in yet, as it takes 48 hours to expand completely, but so far, I highly recommend it. Thank you!

I purchased this queen floor futon to use in my living room for lounging and sleeping while watching TV. When it arrived, it was wrapped in plastic and rolled up. After unpacking it, I let it inflate for a few minutes. It looked a little dusty at first, but then I noticed it remained flat. I measured it with a tape measure, and it was only about 3 inches thick. After waiting a while and remeasuring, it was still the same, which left me feeling disappointed. On the positive side, the futon was clean, the stitching appeared fine (better than some reviews had led me to expect), and it came with a protector sheet and a bag for storage or travel. However, I gave it 4 stars due to the misleading advertisement and the fact that it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked for a new product. Despite these issues, I find the futon comfortable, and I sleep well on it. If it were a bit thicker, it would be perfect. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision!

Cons- Not as soft as I was hoping, not thick (but to be expected) doesn’t roll up…more like just folds. Pros- it’s light, easy to clean, and better than a cheap air mattress. Worked ok for my truck bed camper, until I just decided to get a futon.

Final Updated Review: My husband convinced me to do a replacement first and see if we get the same issues. It arrived promptly, but in a completely different color than what we chose (teal -> gray). Am I going to deal with returning again for that? No, but I will dock a star for that, because it is just one more thing that went wrong with this order. So we laid it out again to let it fluff up and did not touch it for 24 hours. Fluffed up decently, about 4 inches high. We put the cover they provided on. So far, the kids find it comfy and I have not seen any damage to the fabric like with our first one. One thing I didn't mention before is that it comes tightly rolled in a flimsy black bag. Both bags were ripped upon arrival, where the zipper is. They also provide you a travel bag of the same material for the futon, but I don't have faith in its durability. The bags feel like they are made of reusable shopping bags, the paper-y kind. I still have reservations on how long this futon will last, but for now, the replacement has held up. I've said all I can say about this product. If it falls apart on me in a month, I won't be surprised. But here's hoping it defies my skepticism. Wishing you a better experience! (Returning the first one was easy with Amazon's drop-off sites. We just brought the giant rolled up mattress to Kohl's. Thank goodness for that because there was no way we were squeezing it back into its original packing box!) Original review: We received it and unpacked it immediately so that our kids could use it as soon as possible. (We did not use it, we unpacked and laid it out per vendor instruction to allow it to fluff up.) It was well packaged and began to puff up right away, but it is still not as thick as the picture. The turquoise color is lovely, but we did notice a one-inch tear in the fabric (picture shown) after it had puffed up. The material is thin, feels like cotton sheets. I checked the stitching all around and that seems secure. The tear is disappointing since this cost nearly $200, but I guess I will just patch it up because the children have already fallen in love with it. Hopefully, the extra cover they provided will prevent further damage. Even though it is not as thick as I expected, it is comfy. If there had been no tear, I would have given 5 stars based on price, delivery, and fairly accurate product description. But still, the cost is high enough that I can't overlook the damage in the item. Update on Original Review: Day TWO, three more frayed holes. We have no pets. We laid it on the carpet. All I did was take the edges to fluff it a few times throughout the evening. The holes appeared on the bottom part of futon. I had wanted to just patch it, and count it as a loss, but this is too ridiculous. We are returning it. I am really disappointed. Purchase a better one somewhere else.

I use this futon as a bed with the idea of being more minimalistic in lifestyle. I weigh 185 pounds and have had no issues with this futon. I don't feel any sinking in the middle of the night and it seems like it will hold up well. However, I have a blanket covering it as well, but this serves a purpose to keep it clean more than cushioning. They do recommend you let it sit and breathe for a couple days in the sun so it fills out fully. But this will happen no matter what even if you use it right away. This futon bedding is great for a bed if you don't desire a cloud to sleep on. But I prefer this bedding and will probably purchase more of these in the future as guest bedding or for camping. One thing to keep note of though, the cover it comes with is pretty cheap and will probably need to be replaced if you are not gently with the zippers.

Ordered this futon because I like to crash in the living room some nights. In my opinion it's very comfortable, and I sleep well on it. People saying it's uncomfortable are crazy, it's not like it's supposed to feel like you're sleeping on a real mattress. I also like that it comes with a bag to store it in. The futon also comes with a cover so you don't need to order one.

It came in a small box and once the plastic was all removed, you have a mattress, cover and carrying bag. My only Complaint is that it says it is 3" thick, I'm not sure where they measured that, its about 2.5" in the thickest parts. That being said, I slept on a lot of floors and couches and my back seems to like that better than most regular mattresses, so far so good with this one. I did end up buying a cooling gel mattress topper to add onto this and it made it even more comfortable.
