I mainly bought this e-bike rack for transporting my electric-assist bicycle, and I'm very satisfied with the actual user experience. Everything went smoothly from installation to hitting the road. The instructions were clear, the overall structure is sturdy, and the materials are solid – it's clearly not a cheap product. My electric-assist bicycle is quite heavy, but this rack provides excellent support. The mounting points are well-designed, and once secured, it's very stable. There was no shaking or unusual noise even at high speeds or on bumpy roads. The photos are from my actual use, taken during a trip along the coastal highway. If you are looking for a decent bike rack to fit into a 2-inch receiver, I found this one to be a great value. It is very sturdy and stable, of high quality, well-engineered, and folds up to reduce its rear reach when not in use. It is also easy to assemble. The one thing I considered was adding some foam in a couple of places to prevent damage to the gate if I accidentally lower it with my key fob gate button while the rack is installed and folded up. I set it up for one bike on the outboard side of the rack, and fully deployed the gate, which will open without touching it. Some of these racks cost $600. This one is functional and a bargain compared to those.

Rack is advertised for Ebike transport of up to 180 pounds for two bikes. This, plus the great reviews, is why I bought it. Set up was easy and it felt secure. I double and triple checked set up and watched two mounting videos to ensure I had everything correct given I needed to take my wife's new $3k e-Bike to the shop for a free 90-day tune-up. I secured it with the straps on the wheels and the low arm support snugly and ensured the orange holding tabs were screwed down tight and immovable. I drove 50mph in the slow lane to the shop and avoided bumps and potholes. The e-bike fell off on the freakin' hwy causing $300+ damage! I checked with three different bike shops who each said this rack not sufficient to transport Ebikes and showed me why!! It's too bad because I really liked the quality of materials, the ease of putting it together and the price and helpful videos. I've never had a bike fall off a bike rack before and I'm just grateful it didn't total my wife's brand new e-bike!!!

I would rate it 4 stars, but the rack for tilting is shakey. Though, it won't fall off if the pin stays in. Also the knob to secure the rack for the tires and the hook to hold the bike cannot be secured tightly. You really have to max the twist to the point it is extremely hard to loosen when you get to your destination. It can slide. I have to secure it to the bar with straps to ensure it doesn't move when the car is in motion. I mean I can move it even if the knob is as tight as it can be. I like things secured with little movement. Good enuff for easy loading and unloading and not complicated. Works good enuff for me.

Love my new bike rack. Very well made and sturdy. Great price. Tilts and stand upright for times you have no bike to transport. Putting it together took me about 45 minutes. When not in use hangs on my barn wall. Easily holds two e-bikes. Bought a hitch lock so no worries about it being stolen.
