We love our new benches! We also got the matching table. I was a little worried about them being too light, since we have little kids and lots of messes. But these benches are perfect! They clean up super nicely, and really helps brighten the room compared to our previous table and bench set which was dark. We've had it for several weeks now and there hasn't been anything spilled that left marks after cleanup, even after some spots being left overnight. These benches are beautiful and we love that they are real wood. They feel sturdy and solid, but are light enough to easily push in and out, my kids can even do it themselves which is nice. It was easy to setup, my husband did it by himself. It came with instructions and all the needed pieces. It came with little scratch pads to put on the bottom of the benches, which was really nice. These are a great size and fit the table perfectly. They are also perfect for the kids and make it so we can fit lots of people around the table at once. We have gotten lots of compliments on the new benches and table already and will definitely be recommending it to anyone looking for a new dining set. This table was delivered a total mess. The box was damaged, there were several pieces of the table that were broken or scraped. We couldn’t put it together due to the amount of broken pieces. It honestly seemed like it had been delivered and returned multiple times because the box was so damaged. Super bummed about this table, because I loved it so much in the pictures ... show more

    • Good value but assembly tolerances are too tight.

Good for the value. Solid wood feels strong. Negative is that the top is made of 3 separate boards, and if you are not very particular about pushing all the pieces flush together, there are noticeable gaps, misalignment, and raised edges. The pegs on the end pieces don't align well with the holes and you kind of have to force them in by angling the table top boards a bit. Using excessive force to align them may end up cracking the pieces though. Overall, if you are careful about assembling it and are patient with aligning it all together and tightening it carefully to make all the pieces flush, and carefully being forceful, it will end up looking like a nice table for a great price. But I can see this table looking like garbage if you don't assemble it well or get unlucky pieces that don't align. This table could be a lot better if the manufacturing tolerances were improved or more tolerance is added in to allow parts to fit more forgivingly. I didn't end up using any washers or split lock washers because the bolt lengths couldn't engage with the washers in place. ... show more

I absolutely love this table. It’s everything I was looking for in a dining room table. I’m doing farmhouse style in my home and it’s perfect for it. I had a little trouble fitting all the screws in and some I just couldn’t get to go in but it did not seem to affect the sturdiness of the table at all. I got the matching bench and love that it fits underneath the table. Saves space and is easy to clean. I agree with other reviews that it is a bit warmer toned than pictured. This table is gorgeous! It’s simple and modern and I love the color. My only complaint is that one of the legs came chipped and a section of the table top came with a little dent. Pretty bummed about that. Must be a soft wood.
