I was never able to see this in person (other than the picture shown) but I am glad that I went with the choice to buy this one. The cart comes in a big box and it does require two people to move it since it weighs over 100 pounds. I was lucky and able to borrow a dolly to help me move it into my home. The unit is well packaged since it is surround with Styrofoam & wrapping paper protecting all pieces from getting scratched. I would still probably do a check to ensure that all the pieces come perfect. A word of caution, the entire unit is covered with John Boos Cream so you may get some on you or the floor/carpet when you take the pieces out. I was able to assemble the unit by myself and the only tools that you will need will be a hammer and a 7/16 wrench/ratchet wrench. The instructions are easy to follow and it took me an hour to build it. In order to attach the extension cord, you will need to loosen the screws that are already pre-drilled. The cart itself is functional since mine holds: an All Clad Pan (with its bag), a Calpahlon towel, two Mason Cash bowels, a Henckels utility knife, a Kuhn Rikon spice grinder and a John Boos American Cherry cutting board. A bonus, it still has space for me to work and prepare/cut food and that is still not using the leaf. The drawer measures 16" (L) x 15" (W) x 3 1/2" (H) so plenty of room for kitchen tools. I can now separate kitchen utensils from my flatware. The instructions do say that you will need to oil the wood every 3-4 weeks so there is some upkeep. The knife holder works well but if you plan on storing knives that are longer than 6", a child or pet may get hurt. Overall I am very ecstatic with my purchase and can see this being a lifetime purchase where I will be able to pass this on to my children. ... show more
