Bought these and bought a q bomb box for 45 bucks they sounded so good I bought another q bomb and had all four subs in two boxes running of an 8000 watt amp for about 300 bucks you WILL NEED a capacitor and possibly a second battery but amazing sound coming out of these and best part is they are light all 4 subs in boxes only weighs about 160 donโ€™t let people tell you planet audio is bad they are not and I would choose this sound and value over skar or American bass all day long ... show more

    • Thought I was getting Meh but got OMG THIS IS GREAT!!!!
These subs are CRAZY GOOD!!! Mounted them in a sealed custom made box and these subs are killing it. I have a 2500 watt amp and it can not handle what these subs need. I have the amp set so low and the subs still sound good. If you wire these up in a 2 ohm configuation and run 4 of them to a mono amp then you will need an amp that can take them. I have mine down to .5 ohms and I can't explain how good they sound when the amp I have doesn't shut off. I order a new 6000 watt amp and can't wait for it. ... show more

They alright. My lanzar max subs hit way harder buy they fell apart. These ac 10s handle good power though....just not very deep bass to me ...I have 8 in a wall on 2 - 2600 watt amp.

so for the people that say planet audios is cheap crap, i'll show u this. the Term-lab readings where crazy for a "cheap" speaker. would recommend these for almost every application, why brake the bank if u dont have to. my equipment is as fallows. Lanzar OPTI4001D the pictures there is only about a 1k-1.5k speakers are at 2 ohm at the 2k + they are at Half ohm. 4 planet audio ac10d sub's pioneer head unit 2/0 and a 4 gauge wire to back battery 200 amp alternator /w big 3 wiring done. right now it's in a bastard box to get tuned to the car, once they are tuned there will be 6 ac10d's ... show more

    • Subs fail in less then 5 months!
Subs were delivered on Jun 20, 2018. Due to the fact I needed a custom box built for install, they weren't installed for nearly a week. I live WAY out in the country side and I drive MAYBE 1 hour, A WEEK! So, it's not like I was tearing around town bumping full blast every day. I paired them with the recommended 5000 watt amp, read the user instructions, and followed them. I was sure not to over power the subs and give them time to "break in". Every time I turned on minimal bass they started to smell terribly. Not even 5 months later and I was driving to the store, and next thing I know. I have ZERO bass. I can't believe that a company would sell this kind of garbage.... Never again will I purchase from this vendor! ... show more
