Overall it’s not a bad chair mat. It stays mostly flat on my carpet, and it gives my carpet some level of protection from my chair. The office chair was wearing holes in the carpet. Adding another “backed” carpet didn’t work. Searched for a clear chair mat to help. After many searches and reading multiple reviews, I found the Placoot clear chair mat. I read the reviews, did my outside research, and even went to multiple brick and mortar stores to compare. Glad I ordered the Placoot mat. It performs well. No more carpet holes. Doesn’t slide on the carpet, and there aren’t holes or indentations from where the chair sits.
