I bought this as a gift for my nephew who is going to school in an area that gets damp cold. I had my son try it on so I could see how it fits. It looks great! This jacket is nicely fitted for long arms and lean body type. Not boxy at all. The zipper is metal! Sturdy and looks nice. I don’t buy anything with plastic zippers anymore because they don’t hold up so this was a big reason I ended up buying this one. The Sherpa lining is soft and added warmth. The hood is also flannel not sweatshirt fabric and gives the jacket added warmth and quality appearance. I will be buying a few more for the boys for Xmas.

This jacket seems well made, the color (orange) is great, and the sherpa lining makes it nice and comfy. The hood is nice and thick and doesn't seem awkward the way some hoods do. So I really wanted to like it. But overall, the jacket has a very baggy cut. In this picture I've laid a comparable Vans jacket (both size large) over it for comparison. At the armpits, they are roughly the same width; but in the arms and lower torso, this jacket is significantly wider than the Vans. I'm 5'10, 180 pounds, fairly average size, and the Large fits well in the shoulders and armpits, but it's just too floppy everywhere else. It might be manageable if the hem had a drawstring to tighten it up a little, but it doesn't. That's a dealbreaker for me since I don't want the bottom of my jacket constantly getting blown around in the wind. Could be a great choice, though, for someone of wider girth - the quality is really nice. EDIT: Thinking I may just need a smaller size, I ordered a Medium to try. It fit much better in the lower portion, but much too tight in the armpits. So I still say it's true-to-size in the upper part, but cut way too big in the lower part for an average size guy.

I'm a big guy. 6'3" 275-325lbs (I drop and gain weight quickly, probably a persisting consequence from when I was a professional MMA fighter and I was always trying to hit weight. Anyway, normally I'm 3-5 XL (XXXL-XXXXXL) depending on the maker and country of origin. I bought this in 3XL. It was the first time I've EVER had a 3XL anything be big on me. Also, the pockets were not at my side but at my BACK. It was SO annoying, but I loved the jacket. It was so comfortable. So, I had my nieces stich in 2 new pockets and sew up the old ones, but it was still big on me. I decided I liked the jacket so much, I'd risk it. I bought an XXL. I expected to receive a jacket that was too short and too small to fit me. Nope! It was the PERFECT size and the pockets were in the front. Now, I love this jacket. Good company.

This flannel jacket was a Christmas gift for my son. I specifically picked this out because the sleeves have the same lining as the rest of the coat (instead of the satin-type lining the sleeves usually have). This jacket is so nice I ordered 3 more — one for myself too :-) Would recommend ordering one size up, runs slightly small.

Keeps you warm, but better off as something to wear underneath an heavier coat if it is real freezing out. Easy to remove and put on. Washed a few times with no issues with shrinking and wear/tear Great for the price.
