The media could not be loaded. Upon first unpacking this product you get the wow factor. Packaged in a secure quality box with each item securely homed within their own compartment. As my first purchase was the Pitaka magcase, what other way to compliment the case with a compatible wireless charger. I had previous generation pitaka wireless charges that i was happy with and they seem to get even more advanced with each revision, especially nicer looking. To start off with that chrome border which caught my eye and screamed premium. The airflow is a plus as wireless chargers tend to get hot. Especially if you are using the magcase pro which is pretty thick. I tested fast charging and magnetic hold with both the magcase and magcase pro and they worked perfectly. This time around I purchased the dashboard mounting version as it comes with mounting disk with 3M secure holding tape as well as a clear suction cup that is good to attach to windshield. An adjustable longer arm for window mounting would also be a nice addition for future version. That way on cars with slanted windshields, you could have phone closer to you by extending an arm, like a selfie stick that you can extend. The vent mount that I have from previous version is also compatible with this new version which is great if I want to switch back and forth. The cooling fan only goes on while actively charging instead of running all the time. It is very quiet which u can only hear if u put your ear to it. I did notice that the Pitaka name on front of the wireless charge panel no longer lights up like it did on previous generation. It was a cool option before and looked nice but could see how it was a distraction staying on all the time when phone wasn’t connected, so kinda smart idea that they disabled. Maybe if it lit up for a few seconds when power was first sent to it would of been cool but I guess u know it has power when you connect your phone and it starts charging. I’m very happy that this has USB C connection instead of micro USB. It’s a solid and snug connection. I wish the USB C plug was a right angle plug instead of a straight one to look more streamlined and hidden. Maybe on a future revision they could include that. The nylon braided cord is a little over 3 feet long which is a reasonable length to make all necessary power connections in car. This nylon braided cable screams durability. Ball and socket connection. Moves 360 degrees, to accommodate holding phone in any direction. Especially if you want to hold phone in landscape instead of portrait. You will have to spin around charger to landscape mode if you want it to hold phone in that direction. If charger is in portrait you cannot place phone in landscape until U spin charger in same direction. Charging wireless base also has a rubber rim around it to make a softer connection between charger and case. On a future version they might want to include, for a small additional price, a car charger with type C connector to assure that users get the fastest charging possibly with the best connectors. You don’t want you quick charge to get bottle necked from the car charger that you are using. All in all, I couldn’t of been happier with this purchase as it hits all the major quality points. Pitaka always grows with each iteration of their product so I suggested a few things for the next model. Pretty strong magnet, could be a little stronger in my opinion. The pixel 6 with "HXY Case for Google Pixel 6, Detachable Magnetic Wallet" charges great on my Samsung wireless charger at home. On the Pitaka mount it will show its connected, but won't charge, and to get it to line up with the charger, the magnet doesn't quiet line up and it has a tendency to fall. so in conclusion, does not appear to be compatible for pixel 6. ... show more

**Update** Fan is dying like a 1980 movie villain, noisy, slowly, and makes you want to roll your eyes. I purchased this 5 months ago, and there’s a lot I like. Holds the phone, even over bumps. Holds the windshield. Even in Virginia summer heat cycles. Charges adequately, not amazing but not bleh either. My primary gripe is I contacted their customer service about the fan of doom, and was advised to post a question/review to process my warranty claim, even though I sent the order number and a screenshot of the order. That’s not a customer service win. In fact, I feel like a whiney high school student posting here, but it needs to be made right. After about a week of back and forth emails (they needed my order number and the serial number, and a video of what was happening) Pitaka shipped out a replacement unit that’s right as rain. Every company sometimes has an individual problem with an item, and in my opinion Pitaka did right by me as a customer. I’m hopeful I won’t need to update again in May! Much like the first Pitaka magnetic charger I purchased, this one died after about 6 months. They replaced the first one, which died again after a few more months. When This one died I tried to contact Pitaka only to be redirected to Amazon who redirected me back to Pitaka....so I'm out another $50 I guess. ... show more

What a way to have a permanent place to store your phone when driving plus having it fully charged all the time! Being able to adjust the angle also makes it easy to see who is calling or texting with a quick glance while driving. My phone adheres to the magnetic holder no matter how bumpy or rutty the road. The stand's suction cup also adheres to the console of my Audi Q5 without any problems and has never come loose. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who has room on their console to put this phone holder. If you do not have the space, I would purchase the Pitaka phone holder that clips into the air vent. A colleague of mine purchased that product and constantly raves about it. ... show more

    • Not compatible with iPhone 13!
I used this with a Pitaka iPhone 11 case and it was rock solid. I recently upgraded the phone to an iPhone 13 and immediately ordered a $69 Pitaka case. I have both a Pitaka desk and car mount. It appears the iPhone 13 is too heavy for this product. Even on the desk I have to tilt the phone horizontally to prevent it from sliding off. In the car, I didn't get off my block, good pavement, before it fell off the mount. It repeatedly fell off and became a huge distraction. I would not use this with the iPhone 13. Totally satisfied with the product using the iPhone 11. Buyer beware. ... show more

    • Can't adjust the arm sticks high above the dash
First I must say this device as far as charging it is good. I am using it with a Note 10 and the PItaka case. I ended up using the vent mount included with the charger. The suction mount did not have a way to mount the phone below the dash lip. It does not charge as fast as a direct connection of the USB-C port. ... show more
