I got this for my 81 year old mom who is having mobility issues and am so happy I did. First off the price is amazing and really goes to show how far technology has come where an adjustable bed frame can cost less than $400. The compromise it makes is the legs are plastic... But who cares about the leg of a bed as long as they're sturdy, which they are. Setup was easy enough but definitely requires 2 people for proper setup which takes about 30-40 minutes. The other thing I really love about this bed is the adjustable height. When you set up the bed you'll notice that each of the legs is made up of 3 pieces that you can remove, and they're different lengths to make a variety of height options. For an elderly person this feature is priceless. The remote makes adjusting the bed simple and my mom says she sleeps so much better now that her mattress is on the new bed frame. **You'll also want to make sure the mattress can accommodate an adjustable bed** Definitely recommended ... show more

This was a great find. It works well, was easy to put together- although it does take two people. It is heavy and bulky to move alone. We wanted an inexpensive way to convert our king size wooden bed to one side being firm and non-moving and the other to be softer and adjustable. This frame fits perfectly in the wood bed frame with another twin frame next to it. A bonus was the under-bed light that can be remotely turned on, so when I get in bed after my husband is asleep, I don’t have to thump around or turn on a light that would disturb him. We were about to make a huge mistake and order a $3000 base for our sleep number. And we realized that we could get one better and cheaper. This was it. It is great. We have the split king. And me and my husband sleep veryyy different. And we sleep very well. The ability to move the base in different directions is AWSOME. The massage feature is super helpful. It’s like rocking a baby to sleep kind of thing. I sleep flat normally but have been really sick so laying flat is really hard and I just raised it a little and slept great. I’m giving it 4 stars because overall the base is very good: it’s comfortable, sturdy, and the adjustable features work perfectly. Setup was easy and it feels like a quality product. However, the “massage” mode was a bit disappointing. I expected something more targeted or like a real massage, but it’s really just a simple vibration. I found this bed fit my needs well, is easy to use with a remote control. It has side pockets to hold remote etc but they are small and uncomfortable to reach so not really useable. The bed was quick and easy to assemble, sturdy and looks good in the room. When I received my bedframe, I thought I would have to wait until someone could help me set it up ( because I am 78 and not real handy with electronics or building things ) However, I thought I'd open it up and get things ready for when help arrived. To my surprise I had it up and working perfectly in about 10 minutes!! the hardest part for me was turning it right-side up after I screwed the legs on, because it's kind of heavy with the motor etc..
