These just sound fantastic in the car. Hit just as hard, maybe a bit harder, as my old subs at 1000w but the notes are sooo much lower. I have these in a 3.5cb/f Dual 12" slot-style ported enclosure running 1000w wired at 2ohms load on the amp. Never use to have a lot of rattle with the other subs and now things rattle (like the trunk latch and rear window) when the other subs didn't do that so that's something to keep in mind for some people. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great price for this sub. I recommend if you're on a budget and only need a single speaker with a single voice coil. Wattage level is perfect for bridging your amp without having to worry about blowing the coil. I had dual 12's in another vehicle and couldn't fit it in the new one, but my amp was a monster and I'm a bass head, & that poor little 150w 12 couldn't handle my addiction, fried that sucker like bacon within a few days. Had to get something that would match my need for the thump in the trunk. This low priced baller has proven to be a contender for my old school amp that provides a heavy hit, they were a perfect match. Got this monster in a single q-bomb 12 inch ported box, to give her room to move and rock that body. The wife was all skeptical & stuff, no faith in this ones ability! Well weeks later this speaker is taking the full girth of this old amp and not even crying. Ladies be droppin' with pleasure when they feel that bass, old ladies be clutchin' them pearls when we roll down the street! Replaced my older DVC 2ohm Champion Series with these. I have them installed in the original sealed box the older model came in. They sound great and hit hard. Have them on a 1500w rms timpano 2 channel class d amp tuned down to 1000 rms. Plan on getting 2 more so I can run 4 in total at 1ohm on a 2000w rms 1ohm stable class d amp. Definitely was a great upgrade and they actually hit harder than my older Champion Series. ... show more

Did a quick swap on my 12” subs… last subs were 1400w 400 RMS, New ones are 1600w 500 RMS .. super easy to change out.. because I have a small 500w JL Audio amp, I can’t really tell a difference.. but it definitely bangs.. I’ll do an update once get a bigger amp. Update: May 27, 2023… my bass isn’t hitting like it used to anymore. Only having speakers in for a few months there is a crack in it.. sucks because my last pioneer speaker also got a crack in it. So if I have to replace subs again I’m most likely won’t be going back to pioneer.. may switch to Skar… I am replacing my 500 watt amp with a 1500w Skar amp.. will see if that fixes my bass problem.. will give another update.. ... show more
