Having played the sport for a while now, the design is perfect for any newbie on the field. I have kept them on hand for any random in and out players that wanted to play but lacked the equipment. They work great for that reason. The weight is balanced and the color is catered for any guy or lady but more likely a kind hearted madam. They are durable, I seen them take hits that cracked me up with laughter. The playability is consistent and ready for another round. Makes playing with friends easy!

This is a solid set of pickleball paddles and a couple of pickleballs to get someone up and started in the sport. My main knock is value - not the best value overall, but hey you get a nice pink and blue ball when most people are using yellow or green. haha. That said, this is a set that will allow a couple or two friends to get into trying out the sport. It could also be a fun gift set to a couple who have been wanting to try it. I personally picked it up to have a spare set on hand to share when others want to learn or try it out. I'm always happy to introduce people to the sport. It's fun, and giving others a chance to experience some fun - well, the world needs a little more joy in it - so if I can help by letting someone try pickleball - then I'll do it.

These ended up being nicer than I thought they’d be for the price! And the pink looks even cuter in person! I’m still new to pickleball, so I can’t compare them to the big name sets, but they’ve worked well for me and my friends. The paddles feel sturdy and still light in your hand, so they’re comfortable to use for a whole game. I like that the set comes with everything you need so you’re not hunting for anything extra. For casual games with friends or getting started, it’s been a good all-in-one beginner set.
