Very poor quality performance as far as actually blowing enough air to even feel it on the highest speed it will go. If it didn’t take so long to get them installed by a friend, I would have returned both. The remote is not designed well either. I wish I wouldn’t have gotten these but went by reviews. Sometimes it’s successful and sometimes it doesn’t from reviews and 4+ stars. I have no idea why good reviews on an item that is basically useless for me. It’s pretty pathetic they don’t even blow enough to make my curtains or anything else move from the pathetic non existent air flow on high setting. The only positive thing is the black color & very quiet, but I think that’s because it’s not a strong enough fan. I have a small living room/dining room that both fans were installed in. Two fans at the opposite ends of the room is pretty bad to not feel any air moving. I might as well not even use them because you can’t tell the difference between the fans being on or off. The only thing that has worked is I have to use the reverse setting on the fan direction that at least blows enough to make the curtains move a little bit but still can’t feel much. If I had the money, I’d go to an actual store to see how well they worked and if it was a strong airflow like it should be. Heck, my pedestal fan blows a lot of air that really moves it around & now using those, too. Not worth the money and effort installing this fan or having to still buy other fans to compensate lack of air from these ceiling fans.

This fan is amazing once it's setup. Most of the screws were in the fan motor holder, so they weren't easily lost. Blades were easy to attach. Light was basically put together (I found the LEDs being on a magnetic plate was cool). Replacing my previous ceiling fan's brace (ball and joint) with this one (completely flat) was a breeze, too. The main thing about installing that was disappointing and ended up hurting my arms was the holes in the brace to connect to the motor holder were smaller than the holes in the motor holder, so the screws wouldn't go through them. I ended up using two of the wood screws for the stabilizing holes. The other two I used the appropriate screws because they fit and were the ones that you slide the hole onto. The features of the fan are wonderful! You can dim the light to be a warm color or bring it up for a very bright white light. There are also levels in between. There's a night light mode that is a really low level white light that's not blinding. The fan has 6 speeds, though speeds 5 and 6 are pretty similar. I did not have to setup the remote; as soon as I was pressing buttons, the fan was receiving the inputs from the remote. There's also a button to set a 2 hour timer for it to then turn off. I love the black color and how powerful the fan is considering its size. The only negative about having the remote control the fan is that if you lose the remote, there's no manual way to control the fan. It comes with a holder to put on the wall, but it can still get lost.
