I purchased one of these iGel batteries several years ago to replace an ATV battery. When my children's' dune buggy needed a battery, I immediately purchased this brand again. I love the fact that the battery requires zero maintenance and is ready to go out of the box. The LCD screen is also a nice added bonus for checking the battery levels as well as knowing the age of the battery when it was activated. O'Reillys auto store deal me a lead acid (you know, the small flasks, what you should fill in the battery, and charge after that...) for $300 in 2024😂😂😂 This thing is just awesome for $30 works perfectly in my Kawasaki Z750, the small display is a great extra, comes fully charged, plug n play.🫠

    • Works after 2 months of intermittent riding and storage without a trickle charger. After 1 year, flat and dead. cheap, though.

Works after 2 months. Also has been mostly sitting, without charge. So Okay by my book. I installed on a 2008 Honda Shadow Aero. Fits really nice, as it has about 1/8" clearance on periphery and a little (maybe 1/4" clearance to top panel for that bike. The last one I had, I had to mash down in forcefully to make fit. The voltage display is useless for the Shadow, as the battery is completely hidden. But it is not hurting anything, either. One year update: Bought August 21, 2016. As of August 7, 2017, battery is flat and won't keep a charge. Still, really cheap and fits, so I'm getting another. I would really like a small motorcycle battery that lasts longer than one year. ... show more

I bought one of these batteries at least 5 years ago. It has been the best battery I've ever owned. I've had it installed in my ATV. Before the Chrome Pro battery I was using Interstate Batteries. I only ride every few months and with the Interstate Batteries I had to buy a new one every time I would go ride. They're expensive and they suck! With the Chrome Pro I can leave my bike sitting for months on end and the battery is still fine. Typically I charge it every three or four months if I'm not riding. That seems to be plenty. Don't let it sit over 6 months and you're fine. I'm here to buy another one and I figured I'd leave a review. After all these years it's finally dying on me. I wish they were still only $25! I've also had a chrome Pro AGM in my other bike that I barely ever ride. I've had it in there for about a year and a quarter and it has been awesome as well. ... show more

This battery lasted about 10 minutes then shorted out and wouldn’t charge back up. When you slapped the side of it the voltage would change. Amazon will not allow for a return even though its prime and manufacturer contact number and website acts like it’s been shut down. Please save yourself the time and do not buy this battery ... show more
