Very happy with purchase. This is a replacement for a very old Kwikset keypad/door lock that no longer functioned. Based on the measurements provided in the description, I determined it would fit as a replacement, it did, and I was able to install it myself. At 73 with arthritic hands, the lever handle verses my old round doorknob is a welcome change. What an upgrade! Love the features, especially the ability to unlock wth my thumbprint. I will add that I could not set up the fingerprint reader from the enclosed directions. However, it was very easy to set up from the app. My internet was not recognized automatically, but I was able to enter it manually. The unit works well with Alexa. I also appreciate the notifications on my phone as to when the door is locked or unlocked. Having a physical lock hidden beneath the twistable finger pad is also reassuring in the event the batteries would fail. I have only had this unit 3 weeks, so no idea how long the 8 batteries will last. I will update this if they fail in a short time period. Overall, very pleased with the quality, installation, and especially the features at this price point.

I recently had to replace my door locks and decided to give this one a try. It works great! Setup was simple, and using it is even easier. I love that you can choose between entering a code or using your fingerprint for quick access. Super convenient and reliable so far. Would definitely recommend!

Easy to use and mostly easy to install. There's a screw on the handle that can't be put in and screwed in unless the handle is being held down, which required four hands and two people. Otherwise, it's been very easy to add new fingerprints and codes, and not having to remember to grab a house key is the best.

The Philips WiFi Keypad Door Lock with Handle has been a fantastic upgrade for my front door. The first thing I noticed was how sleek and well-made it looks. The design is modern and clean, and it really elevates the look of the door while still feeling solid and secure. I also love how many convenient features it offers. Being able to unlock the door with fingerprint, keypad code, the app, or a traditional key makes it incredibly flexible depending on the situation. The built-in Wi-Fi and remote access through the app are especially convenient because I can lock or unlock the door from anywhere and keep track of activity. The auto-lock feature is another great touch so I never have to worry about forgetting to lock the door. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it uses 8 AA batteries, which means you have to keep extras on hand when they eventually run low. But considering all the smart features and functionality packed into this lock, it’s a pretty small trade-off. Overall, this lock is stylish, functional, and packed with smart features that make everyday life a lot more convenient. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to a modern smart lock. 🔐📱

I was pleasantly surprised with this Philips smart lock, which replaced a $400 Schlage deadbolt / handle set for my loft. I had previously attempted to install both a Eufy and a Kwikset smart lock at my girlfriend’s house, but both had firmware issues and had to be returned (I’m a tech CRO so in this case it wasn’t user error!). I did loads of research after that and purchased this Philips smart lock for my place. It installed easily, the app is user-friendly and not cluttered, and all features work like a dream. I generally use the fingerprint reader but have PIN codes set up for my brother and girlfriend. I love the fact that there’s a key backup in case the batteries were to die while I’m overseas in the winter. This lock is a great value and I’ll be installing one at my girlfriend’s place this week as well.

It connected very easily, the whole Promise when I first installed it took maybe 2-4 mins. After trying the lock manually it worked great and the app notified me of “manual door lock”. I tried to lock via the app and had an issue with the cylinder turning the wrong way, looked up troubling shooting guide and it mentioned pressing RESET (just removed face plate and hit reset) this fixed the cylinder/tumbler issue but after this it would not connect. Tried multiple things with no success. Called customer service and they advised to remove app and remove lock and reinstall app and lock, after doing this it worked great. Tried thumbprint setting and it worked great for my 9 year, well for me and my wife, not so good for my 5 year old. I have been having issues with auto lock feature, it was working fine and now it is not, not a giant deal just a bummer really. I just installed it so unknown on battery life, but I will post back and see what happens. The noise when locking and unlocking isn’t that bad really, I can live with it especially since it’s so infrequent. Let’s hope the auto lock feature starts working again. This is a good lock for the price, a Schlage lock is more then double the price, and no guarantee no issues.
