After reading the reviews I decided to try this unit. It had the basic features I wanted and not a bunch I would likely never use, all at a reasonable price. Installation was easy and set up was very straight-forward using the app. I really like the way it looks on my door, the black lock fixture against the lighter painted door. It works like it says it should, making getting into my house so much easier than having to hunt for the key with your hands full. The fingerprint reader is quick and has not failed me yet. I typically open the door using the app once I pull into the driveway, so the door is unlocked and ready for me. Its too early to tell about battery life, so that is an unknown. I've had it operational for about a week now, and I'm ready to offload some of the keys from my keyring to lighten that load. so far it is a positive purchase and I am very happy. ... show more

Easy to install. Functions great. The handle as part of the set looks great. Also connecting to app is easy and can double check that I locked door, or open it while away if needed. So nice to use my finger print to open and close it and still have a key for emergencies

Please take time to read this if you're considering purchasing these AWESOME locks! We changed the security in our home to all Philips Homeacess Wifi Keypad Door Locks, some with handles (exterior) and some without, for a total of 8 locks. Without question, Philips has the VERY BEST Customer Service (THANK YOU ISABELLA!) ... and after much research, now that the locks are installed, we believe that this is the absolute BEST Locking System for our home. Though available, we did not set up with the Fingerprint portion because of our winters, but the codes, connecting to wi-fi and setting up Permanent, Temporary or one-time use codes was extremely simple. So was sharing the application with the family, so any of us can lock or unlock a door remotely. What's really cool is that all of the activity is noted in the app, so we can see when others come and go. If you're handy, the directions to install them are very clear. We are not, so the the locksmith (also VERY impressed by the quality) handled the installation of all 8 locks, 7/8 with total ease. The 8th lock wreaked a little havoc with a hot battery but because in each box Philips provides you with their calling card "Any questions? Missing Parts? Don't know how to install? Wrong Size/color/model? The lock doesn't work? We're here to help" and that's EXACTLY what they (Isabella) were ... there to help!! WithIn just a few minutes, my call to Philips was answered by Isabella and all of the issues resolved. They are replacing the lock and Isabella has continued to stay in touch, waiting for the process to be complete. Not only do we really really like these locks, the ease with which we use them from anywhere, but when you have Customer Service support available to you that treats you with respect and understanding, you want to shout from the rooftops to support this company. Quality, Auto-locking, Instructions, Security and Customer Service - 5 stars without a doubt! Thinking about installing these in your home or business? Easy to install and program. I’m a 73 year-old woman and founded an easy task. I love the way it looks and I love its features. Autolock, Alexa enabled, receive notifications on my phone when it’s locked or unlocked at any time.

I based my purchase on the product description and features, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Since I’m a bit impatient, I didn’t wait for my husband to get home from work to install it; I did it myself, and it wasn't complicated at all. I love being able to unlock it with my fingerprint. Plus, the accompanying app is very functional—it’s compatible with Alexa, which I really like—and I get notifications on my phone whenever the door is locked or unlocked. All in all, I’m delighted with this lock because it offers so many benefits for the price; at first, I wondered if the advertised features were too good to be true, but it really delivers on its promises. ... show more

Works very will and was fairly easy to install. You really need to use premium batteries though, or the battery life will be low. I started getting a low battery signal after less than 2 weeks of use. But, to be fair, I used cheap walmart batteries. I ordered some Energizer lithium batteries and will see how it goes. There are some glitches in the app, e.g. it made duplicates of some of the user fingerprints. But nothing that actually affects how it works. It's a sturdy product, without much plastic and has held up well to kids screwing around with it and trying to slam the door closed with the deadbolt out. Don't need to use the key at all, but I like that it's a backup option. The keyhole is also hidden behind the fingerprint reader, which is cool. ... show more

Easy to install and set up pins plus fingerprints. It also has options for one time pins (like for cleaners/package drop off) and vacation pins (for short term vacation rentals), as well as multiple pins for the people in your house. I bought two and need one more, with the thought to install one at every door in the house, and I'll rekey them all to the same key afterwards. I don't have amazon alexa set up, but if I did I could do voice control. But the app works just as well, and I can unlock/lock or check the status from the app. ... show more

The Philips WiFi Keypad Door Lock is a nice addition to our front door. It is handy to have the different options for locking and unlocking- key, raised number pad (preferred over a digital keypad due to a low vision family member), finger print, and wifi. Installation and setup was easy. The app works well and entering codes and fingerprints goes smoothly. It is a tad quirky- sometimes just a thumbprint will lock or unlock but other times the thumb needs to be followed with pushing the number pad checkmark, and sometimes it needs a code. Overall it has been nice to have. Our door was setup with the handle having a 5" setback so I had to search around for a compatible (square hole) 5" latch lock. It would have been nice to have a compatible latch lock as an available add-on. ... show more
