This lockset does not require any additional equipment or any special adaptors to connect to your wifi. the phone interface is intuitive, allows you to set up multiple personalized lock codes and keeps a history of anyone who has accessed (or attempted to access) the lock. Installation was simple enough and and it contains clear instructions on setting up your app and connect to your network. Overall, it's good value for the price. A special shout-out to Carla (the Phillips customer service representative). I accidentally broke the deadbolt mechanism during installation, Carla was extremely helpful in sending me a replacement and followed up with me multiple times during the shipping process to confirm receipt. Worked great for six months with a two lock installation -- front and back door. Battery life was acceptable to me. But then, the back door disappeared off my app. I re-installed it, but when I did my front door disappeared from the app. This went back and forth a couple of times. Finally, I completely uninstalled everything but now the back door won't connect to Bluetooth. And it's past the return window. And, when you try the toll free number for the United States it says, "the toll free number you're calling is unassigned". A company like Philips should be able to do better than this. ... show more

For the price, it's a decent smart lock. I'm having no trouble with it. With all these types of locks, your deadbolt latches need to be aligned well with the door jam deadbolt hole, otherwise the auto-lock feature will not work as the deadbolt with not open fully. In other words, if you need to pull or push the door slightly to get the deadbolt to fully extend, expect some trouble with smart locks. In my case, I was able to adjust things to get it to auto-lock. One thing to consider though is at this price you are not buying a good ANSI grade dead bolt, this thing is ANSI 3 at best, and might not even meet that standard. Notice they say nothing about that in the description. If you want a really secure smart lock, you need to spend hundreds of dollars. ... show more

I LOVE this - I wish I had installed it sooner. It was easy to install by myself and it paired quickly and easily with my phone. I got it for the auto-lock feature - you can set it how long before it auto-locks. I set my auto-locking feature to 3 minutes and it is perfect - now I don't have to leave the house wondering if the door is locked. I can also see which code was used to unlock it and when which will be good as my kids get older. I've had it for about 6 months and the battery is still strong. ... show more
