Overall: I am very happy with the patio chair/table set. It looks awesome, fits my decor and is the right size for a moderate sized condo balcony. Positives: + Very sturdy + Well engineered + Contemporary design + Arrived slightly earlier than expected + Top notch customer service Negatives: - Slightly narrow chairs, but still comfortable (personally would like an additional inch or two) - Build quality can be hit or miss (read customer service note) Customer Service Note: The set arrived with a major dent in one seat button area, a medium scratch in one seat back area, missing two washers and one unusable hex bolt. I emailed customer support about the issues and included photos. I got an almost immediate response back from Rita stating replacement parts were being shipped out. They were actually shipped immediately and in three days they arrived and were undamaged. I dread dealing with most customer support centers, but Rita from AlphaMarts (the company that brands/sells Phi Villa) exceeded my expectations. As such, if you find one of their products that you like, I strongly believe you can buy with confidence as they will immediately ship/resolve anything that isn't to your expectations. I believe build issues are common with furniture that is contract built. I can't blame AlphaMarts as the set is manufactured in China and it would be unreasonable for them to open each box from China and inspect everything. Especially knowing that the boxes/tape are essentially designed to self-destruct while pulling the tape off/opening.

The instructions were unclear and parts seemed to be mis-labled. Fortunately, we were able to assemble due to the simplicity of the design (not the instructions). Once we figured it out it was not too difficult to put together. The chairs are very comfortable and I do like the open slat design which is great for outdoors (after a rain, they do not retain water). Both are pretty sturdy.

It is quite easy to put every part together (I used a electronic one, way easier than by hand), and I like the design. It comes compact and the package provide very good protection to the parts. The material, I believe is stainless steel, and it's well finished, feels smooth when touch it. The size is about right to fit my space, as shown in the attached pictures. The table is stable, solid and holds well, the chairs are extremely comfortable, if you need extra support on your waist or back, go ahead to get some cushions. I like to have some cushions, so I get 2 from Ikea. Really good product and price. I highly recommend it.

Bought this bistro set for a small patio space and am really happy with it. I like the clean, simple design; it’s sturdy; and the chairs are very comfortable. I added 20”x20” cushions (also purchased on Amazon; they are a bit big for the seat but am keeping) to make them even cozier, but they are comfortable without as well. The table has adjustable footies, which I really appreciate, since it sits on uneven brick. Assembly was simple, just make sure not to tighten the screws until you’ve fit every connection together hand-tight first. This is a very good value for what you get. It was the nicest looking set I found online and it exceeded expectations.

Despite the fact that this set is attractive, sturdy, and comfortable, it sucks. I have had it for one year. Right after assembling, after the first rainstorm, we noticed this weird orange powder all over the table and chairs. It stained the concrete on the floor of our balcony. Every time it rains, we have the same issue with the mystery orange powdery substance. Needless to say, I am tired of it and worry this set is toxic. Garbage after less than a year of use.
