The Infinitipro by Conair was recommended, and thus purchased. In that I am quite happy with a Revlon Brush, however, I was seeking a smaller travel version so I tried this one. It did not disappoint. Yet, it really is a smaller travel version, which depending upon the thickness of your hair (thick hair here), could be a plus. Thicker hair takes longer to achieve results. I will continue with Revlon, and use this as a travel option as it is easier to pack and really does a nice enough job. A little expensive, very quiet, nice heat and lower settings. I like this thing all right. Is it top of the line? No. Does it get the job done? Yes. The thing to keep in mind is that it isn’t a hairdryer; it isn’t meant to take your hair from sopping wet to dry. It also isn’t a curling iron - its main purpose is volumizing. I usually put some mousse in and then dry my roots completely first with my regular hairdryer. I do notice a nice volume boost after. If I want curls, I then use my flat iron as well. The biggest con is that you have to twist the bottom to change to cool setting. A cool blast button would be much easier. But for the price, I’m satisfied! ... show more

Lighter in weight than other models of this type. Smaller in size also but gives the same results. I bought this for travel but I am using this oval dryer brush instead my old model exclusively even at home. Love love love this brush.

Nope! Too heavy too clunky too smelly too wrong. The same lying packaging, claiming it is compact- to whom? A giant maybe. The odd smell shows me it is going to be unsafe fire hazard - just return it.

I bought the mini version because I wanted something lightweight and easier to hold in my small hands. My hair is very fine, mostly straight, and cut in a bob a little below my chin. The drying power of the mini is enough to dry my hair and it was easy enough to use without my arm getting tired. It provided no help with volume though. The brush head is a little too large for what my hair needs and I think the oval shape isn’t good for getting the roots lifted and the ends rounded and flipped under. I felt that it gripped and pulled the hair too much, straightening/flattening it when what I needed was lift. I’ll be returning this and continuing to search for a smaller lightweight dryer brush but with a ROUND 1.5-2” barrel, which I think would be ideal. ... show more
