The materials and dimensions were as-listed. Unfortunately, the wire was barely attached at all and needed to be reenforced often (even after a small storm). I would recommend getting something that's sealed or adding something to seal it, as it incredibly hard to clean.

It dies the job but the pieces of wood are extreemly fragile which means it's very cheaply made. I guess you truly do get what you pay for with this item. The hens do lay eggs in it sometimes but they prefer the handmade wood box over this as it is flimsy even though it's buried a half inch into the ground to help with sturdiness. You absolutely have to bury it some if you have any kind of wind otherwise it will topple over. ... show more

1 Easy to assemble! Went together in less then 30 minutes. 2. Indicated it was for chickens but definitely is NOT for chickens. It’s for rabbits. 3. Kept it and am using it as a grower base for baby chicks so not a complete loss but be aware there are no roosts for chickens or egg box. 4. It’s very, very small. It managed 6 day old chicks well for about 6 weeks but now that they are bigger it definitely is too small. ... show more
