This is a very good container for cat food or small dog food. I bought this for my outside cat because I didn't want any varmints to get into his food. Works great and easy to handle.

    • Good container, but difficult to measure 1/4 cup at a time.

I like the pet food container. But it could use a couple improvements. The cup is not very secure on the funnel, so it does not serve very well as a cap, if it tips over, the cup will most likely fall off. Also, I feed my cat 1/4 cup at a time. And the cup is so wide, that 1/4 cup is difficult to measure. I would rate it 5 stars if the cup snapped on the funnel more securely and if the cup were a little narrower. ... show more

Great except for size! It is very small. I don’t buy the largest pet food bag, just the “regular” size, and I expected it to be able to contain all of the pet food. It does not, after filling to the top I STILL have over half of the food leftover in the bag. So it did not improve my storage situation at all. Now I have both a bag and food container to store. It would be better as a cereal or grain storage container, not advertised as pet food storage because it doesn’t fit an average bag of cat food. ... show more

This works great for combining two types of dry cat food into one container. It's also very easy to pour from this container into the gravity feeder. My only concern is the wings on the side of the removable top wear over time and crack through.
