These lights are, hands down, amazing! They were SO EASY to install, and look like they were professionally done. I always wanted lights on my house, but my husband refused to climb put lights up and take them down every year for Christmas. These lights mean I get beautiful house lights every day of the year and can change the colors for each holiday! Win Win! Our house was barely visible at night from the street. Now it looks beautiful every night. I have emailed customer service three times. They respond quickly and replace products if there is any question of satisfaction at all!!! They are incredible! The app is easy to use, and you can buy multiple strands and create a "group" of up to 5 strands and control them all together. Note: the company does not recommend to use more than 100 feet per controller. We do have at least 1 x 20 foot set connected to each of our 100 feet on our house, and it does not seem to cause a problem. We have 2 control modules set up as a group in the app, and our lights set on the timer to turn on at 5 pm and turn off at 8 am daily. It works flawlessly. I can not recommend these highly enough! And they are a so much less expensive than the big name brand.

Changing my review from a 5 to 1, lights began to have issues. The lights will not work. Keep turning off and on, and it is not a setting. There is not setting on the controller like that. It stays on for a bit and then turns off for a long period of time, unless there wiggle the chord. The Nexillumi Permanent Outdoor Lights have been a fantastic choice for year-round outdoor lighting. While there's a slight learning curve for some features, the vibrant colors and durability make them a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking to enhance their home's exterior. With a generous 100 feet of length, these lights provide ample coverage for most homes. Remember, you'll need your own ladder for installation; this isn't included with the lights. Pros: Installation with Screws: The traditional method involves screws which can take time for a meticulous setup. Speed Tip: If you want to speed up the process, consider using a staple gun (not provided) for a quicker installation, but be careful not to puncture the wires with the staples. Vibrant Colors: These LEDs produce clear, bright colors that really make your home stand out. Scene Modes: Offering 60 scene modes, you have plenty of options to customize your lighting for any occasion. Durability: They've held up well in various weather conditions, true to their IP67 waterproof rating. Cons: Multi-Color Limitation: There's no straightforward method to display multiple colors at once across different sections, which might limit some creative lighting projects. There might be a way, but I have not figured it out. Price: They are more expensive at first, though this seems justified given the permanent installation and quality of features. Love the lighting coloring my entire house. Addition 2025, the power supply or the controller stopped working. Trying to find the correct replacements is a difficult task. Hoping the GOVEE folks are able to assist..Will update soon as no lights is NOT my ideal situation.

This review is a work in progress. My profession is in the scenic design business ans I work with a lot of LED products (mostly for television production) and I have a little above average expectation of the products I buy. I generally have to hook these products at work in weird configurations and using DMX light boards to control them. That said, I was excited to get more of a plug and play system for my house. The installation went great for my home and I was excited to have them do some basic patterns but I am disappointed in the limits of the app in that some of the "scenes" are unsophisticated and to my taste will only use 20% of them as they simply go back and forth on the home (like KITT in the old Night Rider show). I'd also like to be able to pinpoint a true middle light as a starting point. But the true reason for my writing this review is that it only took a week for the controller to stop working altogether. The lights can't be turned on manually with the inline power switch, the remote control or the app. I also could not get the timers to function correctly either. Both now are pretty much useless as the lights do not work at all. I am researching getting a replacement controller that has the same 3 pin connector that's on there. I'd even switch manufacturers to get a better programmable app if the pins line up. So... in conclusion, research replacement parts for these kinds of lighting BEFORE you buy any. Some may be proprietary and since they are probably manufactured over seas, this might be an issue (like I have).

DO NOT ORDER FROM NEXILLUMI. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW. Has potential… Pros: - easy to install - look great - brightness is perfect - can use phone app, Alexa, or remote control Cons: - the BanlanX app required for the lights is total trash (lacks functionality, is slow, timers and schedules don’t work, and poorly designed UI) - the lights will randomly power on outside of scheduled times - the lights will shut off randomly inside of scheduled on times - even when using the Alexa app for scheduling, the lights don’t function correctly (better, but not 100%) - I ordered two boxes at the same time and the connectors were slightly different sizes so you cannot string the lights from box 1 with box 2 unless you trim down the connectors on box 2 to fit the connectors from box 1 - NEXILLUMI DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY CUSTOMER SUPPORT OR TROUBLESHOOTING AT ALL - Nexillumi’s support site doesn’t work - says “write us” but the button doesn’t work - Nexillumi's phone number on their site and Amazon's is a spam number with an automated questionnaire that hangs up on you after it's prompt. Overall: Great idea, poorly implemented. Durability of the lights seem fine but the light controllers do not last more than six to eight weeks. Working with Amazon now to get a return or refund since we are unable to get ahold of Nexillumi. Due to this issue alone, I will never buy from Nexillumi as they do not provide any support whatsoever.

We bought these because we would leave our lights on our house as long as possible, but hurricane winds in September would always take them down right before it was time to put them back up. We got a quote from a local place that would put up permanent lights for over $12k. Who has that kind of cash?! So I found these on Amazon for so much cheaper and took a chance. Best. Decision. Ever. Easy install. We bought 3 sets to do 300 ft around the whole house and since they are LED, we were able to connect the whole thing with one plug. The app is a trial and error for each light option, since it only has names for each thing without a description of what it does. But DIY option is easy enough to make your own if you don’t want to go through each thing to see what you like. Super bright and lights up our sidewalks around the house, but you can also dim it if it’s too bright. Can’t speak for durability yet since we just installed today, but my husband noted the screws it came with aren’t stainless steel so they’ll probably rust out. If these work the way they should, we plan to replace the screws so they last.

This is a one week of use review. Two lights have burned out. One light in separate segments of the connected strings. Each light is separated by 20 inches which is too far apart. I doubled up the lights so there is 10 inches between lights and that looks about right. The software app is functional to a point. The timer function doesn't work. The app connects via Bluetooth and when in range has constant communication with light string. The software is very basic with room for a tremendous amount of improvement. It's like a high school science project that didn't get finished and nobody cares now the class is over. Purchased three 100 foot strings. Two had the same size connectors and the parts are interchangeable. The third unit had smaller connectors and can't be used for spare parts of the other two units. So, it's a standalone string. Since you can't be guaranteed to get the same units that all match, I would not recommend buying these units. If I was Amazon, I would de-list this seller, send all inventory back, and get them to identify non-identical light strings and make them identify all differences and allow one to select identical units. The amount of time spent dealing with this and then having to replace defective lights makes it more worthwhile to pay a bit more for better products and better software. UPDATE 12/24/2024 Christmas eve, three of four segments now don't work. The light are lit but the app won't control them. Rest power and attempted to reprogram the lights. Only one string does anything. Tried color correction but only one string responded. After Christmas, will be taking all light down and returning to Amazon. Not worth the hassle nor the money.. Will find a more reputable light vendor.
