Changing my review from a 5 to 1, lights began to have issues. The lights will not work. Keep turning off and on, and it is not a setting. There is not setting on the controller like that. It stays on for a bit and then turns off for a long period of time, unless there wiggle the chord. The Nexillumi Permanent Outdoor Lights have been a fantastic choice for year-round outdoor lighting. While there's a slight learning curve for some features, the vibrant colors and durability make them a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking to enhance their home's exterior. With a generous 100 feet of length, these lights provide ample coverage for most homes. Remember, you'll need your own ladder for installation; this isn't included with the lights. Pros: Installation with Screws: The traditional method involves screws which can take time for a meticulous setup. Speed Tip: If you want to speed up the process, consider using a staple gun (not provided) for a quicker installation, but be careful not to puncture the wires with the staples. Vibrant Colors: These LEDs produce clear, bright colors that really make your home stand out. Scene Modes: Offering 60 scene modes, you have plenty of options to customize your lighting for any occasion. Durability: They've held up well in various weather conditions, true to their IP67 waterproof rating. Cons: Multi-Color Limitation: There's no straightforward method to display multiple colors at once across different sections, which might limit some creative lighting projects. There might be a way, but I have not figured it out. Price: They are more expensive at first, though this seems justified given the permanent installation and quality of features. Note: I only put price as a con due to more expensive than traditional lights, but overall the fact that you don't have to take them down and put them up every year will more than make up for the price ... show more

These lights are, hands down, amazing! They were SO EASY to install, and look like they were professionally done. I always wanted lights on my house, but my husband refused to climb put lights up and take them down every year for Christmas. These lights mean I get beautiful house lights every day of the year and can change the colors for each holiday! Win Win! Our house was barely visible at night from the street. Now it looks beautiful every night. I have emailed customer service three times. They respond quickly and replace products if there is any question of satisfaction at all!!! They are incredible! The app is easy to use, and you can buy multiple strands and create a "group" of up to 5 strands and control them all together. Note: the company does not recommend to use more than 100 feet per controller. We do have at least 1 x 20 foot set connected to each of our 100 feet on our house, and it does not seem to cause a problem. We have 2 control modules set up as a group in the app, and our lights set on the timer to turn on at 5 pm and turn off at 8 am daily. It works flawlessly. I can not recommend these highly enough! And they are a so much less expensive than the big name brand. ... show more

Has potential… Pros: - easy to install - look great - brightness is perfect - can use phone app, Alexa, or remote control Cons: - the BanlanX app required for the lights is total trash (lacks functionality, is slow, timers and schedules don’t work, and poorly designed UI) - the lights will randomly power on outside of scheduled times - the lights will shut off randomly inside of scheduled on times - even when using the Alexa app for scheduling, the lights don’t function correctly (better, but not 100%) - I ordered two boxes at the same time and the connectors were slightly different sizes so you cannot string the lights from box 1 with box 2 unless you trim down the connectors on box 2 to fit the connectors from box 1 - Nexillumi’s support site doesn’t work - says “write us” but the button doesn’t work Overall: Great idea, poorly implemented. Durability unknown as I may be returning these if a phone call to the company doesn’t work. ... show more
