The Snake Plant aka Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Zeylanica’ is a classic houseplant grown by gardeners all across the world. Commonly called Mother in Law’s Tongue for the long vertical thin leaves that resemble swords. The leaves are Solid Light Green with Dark Green bands crosing horizontally. This tropical perennial spreads in its pot by rhizomes deep within the soil structure. Snake plants are loved by many for their easy care & maintenance. Where do I begin. First of all this beautiful plant arrived perfectly packaged and ahead of schedule. The leaves are longer than expected and look very healthy. And as an addd bonus, there are actually four plants in the pot! I’m not sure if I’ll divide it into two separate pots or leave it as is - nice and full. It’s sooo nice to have options. The bottom line is this is a Perfect Plant! I highly recommend this seller!

Seller needs to use a larger sized shipping box. Pot is 9" tall. Plant is 32" tall. Box is only 25" tall....?? So, how do you fit a >40" tall plant inside a 25" tall box....?? That's easy. Simply fold all the leaves in half, just like Amazon does! Don't worry about squishing the plant or making holes, tears and cuts in the foliage. The customer will never notice! I expected much more for my $40. This would actually be a GREAT product, IF, they'd simply ship in an appropriately sized box. Hey Amazon, (and Perfect Plants), Unless you're playing Horseshoes or Grenades, ALMOST doesn't count.

I have a planter in a specific corner in my apartment that doesn't get a lot of light. I've had two plants here that haven't done well. I needed a plant that didn't require a lot of light and I knew the Snake plant would be perfect. I ordered this and it was delivered within a couple of days. It arrived in perfect condition and was expertly packed. I followed the instructions for re-potting and my fingers are crossed that it survives and thrives!!!! I was thrilled when I opened the box ( has a vent for air ) and saw a carefully wrapped, perfect looking Sansevieria plant ! I've wanted another one for years. I think they look cool and they are easy to care for. If I didn't kill one when I was 21 I surely won't kill one now several decades later. We have a new house and I love the mid century look for decorating, so this is a must have. I might even order a second one. It's nice and tall so you're getting a good start on a plant that you will have for years to come. Liz, Sonoma County Aug. 16, ~ The plant is doing very well, it still looks very healthy and it's been getting bigger. I re-potted it with fresh potting soil. I could probably split the plant up into two plants now. I wish I could order another one, but they're unavailable right now.

I knew I was taking a risk buying a plant "online" not to mention it having to survive a ride from FL to CA ...in a heat wave BUT this beauty showed up! The box was torn but he was packaged well enough to have survived. I immediately placed him in this pot with new medium and some water per the instructions. Only ONE leaf partially broke in transit and it's hanging on at the bottom. 29" tall healthy and happy! So excited!
