This miniature budget priced beast EQUALS OR EXCEEDS THE HEAT OUTPUT OF ALL OTHER HEATERS. It throws out 1500 watts of heat, which matches or beats the output of the much larger towers, boxes, radiators and oscillators priced at $50, $100 or even $200. And in the $30-something range, you still get effective thermostat control and full safety of tip over and over-heat protection. And its powerfull fan heats up the room much faster than others with a whimpy or no fan. But the fan is quite noisy while heating, and gets even louder when the heating element cycles off. Mislabeled as a "Personal" heater, you would probably find it anoying up close, on a near-by table top or under a desk. Still, it's great for a kitchen, bathroom or placed at least 10 feet away. This heater works well, almost too well. It doesn't have three heat settings, just two and fan. It seems like the heat settings are hot and hot hot. I wish there was more mile heat setting, but it does what it supposed to do. My last Pelonis heater lasted a very long time.

The heater works great, and I love that it oscillates, so it's not constant heat blowing on you. Please don't buy this for the remote, though. The remote only works if the unit directly faces you and you're within 2 feet of it. At that point, you might adjust it directly on the unit. I thought the remote would be a nice feature, but it's just frustrating. ... show more

We have had this heater for almost 4 years now, and it works so well! As we hear our home with wood, we bought it to keep our baby's room warm on winter nights. We love it, and have had no problems with it. We've found that the numbers on the top don't really coincide super accurately with the actual temperature, but that 67 on the heater means it will keep it about 71-72 degrees in the room. We have had a PELONIS heater for about 20 years and it finally bit the dust Has been a great one and we wanted another one. Have used the new one a couple of times now and have not been disappointed. Have only used on low power and middle ways on thermostat and it is working great.
