We LOVE these lights. Have had the same lights with various brand names for years. They last and last and lasy. Eventually, after years in the desert sun, they will start to dim. In the meantime, they work perfectly. Our big dogs play in the back yard in the evenings, activating the lights constantly. We can look out the windows and keep an eye on the dogs, thanks to the lights. I also have them all around the perimeter of the house for security. My husband loves them because he can putter around in the garden at night, use his outdoor gym, finish chores, etc., all while having lights that almost seem to follow him around. We would not be without these lights. We love them so much we give them to friends, especially friends who need security lights. Plus, super light and super easy to install. The only thing I would change is I WISH THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE BIG ENOUGH TO READ. Plus it drives me crazy that this Amazon product page is full of information, but NOWHERE does it tell you how to engage the various modes. Every time I take another one of these out of the closet (I have dozens), I have to photograph the instructions again, then blow the photo up, so I can read how to engage the correct mode. Yes, it would be better if I could just remember, but unfortunately, I cannot. I really resent that evrey company these days prints their instructions so tiny that no ordinary human beings can read them.

These are really easy to set up and use. The motion detection is excellent and the brightness is amazing. I use Velcro tape to stick them wherever they're needed. You can also use the included mounting screws. One thing to be aware of is that mounting angles are restricted by the direction it puts the solar collector at. In some cases you won't be able to point them where you want because they won't get enough light to recharge.

I had Mr Beams solar lights on a barn for three years. They worked great every night regardless of how much sun we had each day. They came right on a lt dusk and stayed on until daylight. They got brighter when they detected activity perfectly every time. The problem is they were white light, and all of the other outdoor lights on my property were warm white. So I thought that I would replace them with these. It was a mistake. These do work for several hours every evening IF they get lots of sun during the day. If the day was a cloudy one, then half of the lights simply will not light up at all in the evening. And unlike the Mr. Beams version of these lights, they will not last until the morning regardless of how much sun they got during the day. We do have them on the same mode we used with the Mr. Beams version. They should be on dim all the time from dusk to dawn, and then light up brightly when they detect motion. I also do not believe their motion detection is as good as the Mr. Beams lights. We have to get pretty close to them before they will brighten. I do love that they are a warm white color, but that’s where my love for these ends. I would not purchase them again. If you can guarantee they will get tons of sunlight every day, and if you do not need them to stay lit all night and are OK with them only lighting up for a few hours in the evenings, these could work for you if you want warm white light.

Easy to operate, brightness is really good for all 3 settings, love the motion activated feature, solar panels charge very well (especially since I live in Washington and only get sun 3 months out of the year), I would have liked to have a double sided tape install option included…I bought strong double sided tape to install mine because I couldn’t/didn’t want to drill holes to install. Overall the value for money is spot on, haven’t had a single issue and have had them for several months. Highly recommend.
