Just got the unit, easy to install, however the magnets in the bottom part of the unit are sticking out enough to make it difficult to get the clips on right. Really really really really had to force it together. They say wait 90 days for full effect. Will update then with water test results....

You can see the two images before and after: both after a week of scale accumulation. The unit works very well on the other side of the house which is a signifiant distance of pipe. I am observing at least 10x less scaling on my shower heads after a week of use. I suspect the scale residue from before will be flushed out in a few months so I will not be able to tell how much is prior scale and current. I am noticing some residual scale coming out of the system in other areas. The day I installed the unit I noticed the shower water felt different on my skin: the unit starts working very quickly. I researched the technology and this product specifically but seeing the results so fast is truly amazing. I am cleaning my furnace heat transfer this spring and I suspect it will be pretty well scaled, and I am hoping this helps prevent scale caking in the coils. This is an amazing product. We clean the bathrooms once a week, and the images are before and after a week of use.

About five years ago after much research , i bought the S38 for my house and was very impressed, it lived up to all my expectations, recently i moved to a new home the and the S38 stayed with the house, when i went looking to but a new one , i found out the a new model the "Pearl Plus" came out and is supposed to be even better than the S38. i have had it installed for 45 days and so far so good, as described in the unit i noticed some scale residue that's easily wiped away, and my coffee machine has gone for more than a month with no need to descale, Pros: - 5 years after i researched this the first time , is still the latest generation of descaler technology on the market - easy to install (took me less than 5 minutes) - came with a free surge protector - clear indicator light when operational (bigger and more pronounced than the S38) - no maintenance needed (my neighbors keep carrying salt bags every month for their descales) - 5 year warranty (that's 2 more than i got for the S38)

The media could not be loaded. In the past, I tried other water treatment technologies that wrap around the pipe, with limited results. I decided to give the Pearl Plus a chance because it seemed like an upgraded version of what I previously tried, and because their marketing material is very convincing. I just unboxed and installed the device. When opening the box, there was a card explaining what I should expect with a QR code on how to install it, which was helpful. It’s a well-built product that’s easy to install. I placed it on the incoming water pipe to my house, prior to the filters. I like the small footprint of this device - it hardly takes up any space. For now, I will give it 5 stars and observe if it helps the scale accumulation on our faucets and shower heads. We are on a well with water hardness of 180 PPM. I plan to submit a follow up to this review in a few weeks.
