  • Great price with a great look and functional.
Color: Chrome - White Handle
These tuners look great and work great and were a direct fit. I'll definitely be looking into more products from guyker you can't beat the price.

  • Not a drop in fit, but better than stock
Color: Pro - Black - Black Handle
The media could not be loaded. I think the functionality is fine. Gears seem a little tight, but they lock just like they should. Only issue is that these are not a direct fit replacement for the stock Epiphone cheap tuners they use on their Specials. Maybe better Epiphones are a direct fit, but the bushings are too small for a Special. I reamed the holes to make them fit, but the headstock veneer crumbled around the edges. You can see the exposed wood around the bushings in my video. It isn’t very pretty and kind of defeats the purpose of trying to improve the look with black hardware. Maybe a Sharpie can fix it. Fortunately it’s a black guitar. Just, you know, don’t butcher your guitar like I did mine. ... show more

  • Good locking tuners for LP style guitar
I put these on my Glen Burton LP style guitar, to replace the generic vintage style tuners that came with the guitar. It was mostly a 1:1 match, except the bushings were a little more robust than the cheap ones I was replacing. I used a drill bit and manually bored out the hole just a bit and then used a small clamp to push the bushings down flush. The screw holes for the tuner bodies lined up exactly. As for function, these seem to work pretty well. They are just a bit stiff, but there is zero play in the mechanism making micro adjustments super easy. The locking mechanisms, usually a concern at the lower price points, actually worked flawlessly. They seem pretty solid. As for appearance, these look really sharp. I like the graphics on the locking knobs, which I think give it a much more high end appearance. They were packed and organized in a nice box, which I used to store the old tuners. Overall I am quite impressed. If you have an LP style guitar with vintage style tuners, then I recommend these if you are interested in quick string changes and holding tune really well between playing sessions. ... show more

  • Great drop-in replacement for LP vintage style
Color: Chrome - Yellow Green Handle
Take a chance on these lesser expensive Guyker locking tuners. Took all of 10-15 min to remove old tuners and drop these in. Screw holes lined up and perfectly. They’ve been in use for several months. Great quality for the price. They seem to hold tuning as well as any others I’ve had, and makes string changing much faster. I leave very few reviews but felt this one was worth sharing. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for folks
Aside from how fast amazon delivers with prime (which is wonderful), these tuners really are pretty killer for what they cost. Only set back being that I had to drill pilots for the top screwholds because I previously had stock Grovers with only one screwhold at the bottom. The bushings do not fit snug if you have any type of screw top post, but it’s an easy fix with some kind of buffer material like painters tape. Keep in mind you’re not working with Waverlys or even Klusons here... so extra work to make them fit may not be your deal for something so frugal. The locking mechanism is great. Even before tensioning the strings they hold a tune like a champ. I keep my guitar in half step (Eb standard) and even the slinky tension is holding true after about an hour of Albert King style overbends just to test the waters. I can’t speak for alignment with other stock tuner pilot holes but as long as you’re mindful with installation you’ll be just fine. For making a sentimental old $300 Epiphone Dot hold a tune well enough to enjoy playing at home (if you’re gonna be gigging get yourself some high end tuners trust me it’s worth it), these are 100% worth every penny. Worst case scenario? Returns are hassle free and you get your money back in a snap. ... show more

  • Missing hardware, poor design
Color: Pro - Black - Black Handle
I did alot of research on these because of the price and they seemed ok so i bought them for my Gibson SG. When i received them they were missing some of the screws for the headstock. Also, the press fit rivet design just kind of sucks and doesn't stay in place. The oem gibson design is much better even without the locking feature. ... show more

  • Not the best fit for my Gibson SG Standard (2012)
I bought these to replace the stock Kluson machine heads on my Gibson SG Standard. I was looking for something that retained the look of the Klusons but offered the tuning stability of a locking system. The tuners themselves seem solidly built with the usual thumbwheel to pinch the string in place. Your mileage may vary with your instrument but here are how things lined up for mine. 1. The bushing was a bit smaller than the stock. This made it difficult to center the post in the opening. I did my best. 2. While centered (as best possible) the existing screw holes do not quite align with the new machines. 3. The bushing system doesn't have a screw type mechanism that the stock tuners do. The screw type (where the bushing screws into the post) provides a clamping action on the headstock which adds stability. The only thing these have keeping them in place are the two screws. 4. Because of the slight offset due to the bushing size the string tension pulls the machine a bit so it's not level like it should be. In the end I removed these and put my stock tuners back on. I messed with the stock bushings and they helped a bit but the lack of a "clamping" mechanism left me a bit worried about overall tuning and structural stability. If these fit your instrument I think they will be a good option. I took a chance and thought the measurements were close enough. Not in my case. Giving three stars as they didn't work for my application but that isn't necessarily the fault of the item itself. ... show more
