Description

If your space is at a premium, and you’re looking f or an extremely small analog alarm clock that did not have to be plugged in, truly silent, no glaring light in your face, sturdy enough, with an easy-to read face, a snooze button, easy operation, & dependable. So far this delicate and exquisite clock is all of that. This clock is about 2 ¼ (L) x 1 ¼(W) x 2 ¼" (H) inches, extremely small, perfect and fits into all sorts of tiny spaces. And really nice when space is at a premium. If you need it for travel, it's a nice compact size, easy to pack away just about anywhere. Belongs in every traveler's grab-bag of tricks. Just thrown in luggage and survived without problem. You turn off the alarm by pushing down the bar on top - very easy, no fumbling around the back of the clock looking for a button to slide or push. The alarm, which is a beeping noise that starts out at one pace & progressively gets faster and louder in 4 stages. You turn off the alarm by pushing down the bar on top - very easy, no fumbling around the back of the clock looking for a button to slide or push. The alarm turn-off was just a pop-top button you could punch down with a sleepy hand to turn it off when it sounded, easy to silence. There is no AM / PM setting you need to arm the alarm when you go to bed or at least during the 12 hours previous to when you want the alarm to sound. Don't worry, it becomes an easy habit. The size and shape and look and feel of this clock are terrific. It's such a nice thing simply to touch and hold. You'll love this clock because it is decorative while also being very functional. It's small but it works great for what I need for bedroom, desk or travel. It takes 1 regular AA batteries, not the button type, so you can replace them on the road easily at a hotel gift shop. The battery cover is located in the back of the clock towards the bottom and it is very easy to remove and return. The AA battery pops in nicely and is able to last over 6 months and will be still going strong. That button is nicely placed on the upper right-hand front corner, and when the alarm sounds, it’s also the button for a snooze delay. Place this clock in a bright light, the fluorescent hour and minute handscan can lit for half an hour. Note: There's a small button you can push so a light comes on and you can read the time when dark. There's a small button you can push so a light comes on and you can read the time when dark. • A fantastic little alarm/desk (or window sill) clock!!!
Color: Aquamarine
This is the best find ever!!! Too good to be true!!! Such an adorable, functional, portable (= for travels... as an alternative or in addition to a smart phone alarm), absolutely silent (!) and easily readable little alarm clock. It doubles as a small desk clock. I also have one on the kitchen window sill (black, sleek looking). It’s not a feminine looking item (especially in black). So men would appreciate it, too. Besides, I have one in the bathroom (aquamarine, a very attractive color). Another black one is solely reserved for my travels. And yet another one in aquamarine (I find it also a soothing color) on my nightstand. I have given several as presents. Much loved by everyone. None of my alarms has stopped working - even after having travelled in a suitcase and on a plane several times. With the last two I have noticed that the alarm and clock time knobs are more flush with and closer to the body of the little alarm clock. They are a tad harder to adjust than the knobs on the alarms from last year which “stuck out” just a little more and therefore were easier to manipulate. Suggestion: Maybe go back to that style (in terms of knobs only)? This would by no means keep me from ordering another one, though! I have recently placed a new order for yet another black one: my husband’s private travel alarm. :-) The snooze button is simulated the light button for checking the time in the dark. Everything is just perfect about this little miracle alarm clock. And NO sound, absolutely silent! Highly recommend - obviously... after my extensive praise. More colors would be fun! And did I mention that you could easily carry it in your pocket? :-) I am definitely in love with this cute little thing... an attractive and super functional alarm/desk clock! ... show more

    • Small, silent and cheap
Color: Black
I wasn't expecting to find a tick-less quartz clock at this price and was quite pleased with it when it arrived. The dial is clear and can be lit up by a convenient touch control that also activates the snooze feature. Over the past few months, the timekeeping has been virtually perfect. • Small and cute
Color: Aquamarine
Here are the good and the bad about this clock. Good: it is small enough for travel, simple to use, nice color, easy to read dial, loud alarm. Bad: not quite as accurate as a digital (as with any analog clock, it can be off a few minutes either way), setting the alarm may be hard for someone with arthritis. As a retired person, I don't need the accuracy that a digital clock gives, and now that I am hard of hearing, the loud alarm is great. However, the tiny, low-profile dials for setting time and alarm can be difficult to manipulate, especially the alarm dial. My clock also seems to be running a little fast. ... show more

    • Good quality small clock
Color: Aquamarine
This is advertised as a small travel clock but I am using it in my bathroom next to my sink. Nice to have the time right in front of me when I'm getting ready for work or to get out the door at a specific time. The clock is sturdy and the dial is easy to see. It comes in black but I have the soft aqua, which looks nice in bathroom. Keeps accurate time and is a good quality buy for the very reasonable price. ... show more

    • Perfect design. Affordable. Dependable. Truly silent ticking.
Color: Aquamarine
I grew up with a trusty, no-nonsense German-made analog clock in my bedroom (bought at the PX when we moved to Germany when I was a kid, I'm sure). All these years (decades) later, I have no idea if my parents still have it around somewhere, but I wanted another because my phone alarm has let me down on the kid's school mornings a few times over the years, and I just can't have that. I wanted something that wasn't reliant on the electicity not blipping, a charge not happening, etc, and I knew something like the dependable analog I grew up with was exactly the sort of thing I wanted. I remembered the brand (I'll note that it was NOT this brand, I just don't want to say it because they are nice little clocks and I don't want to bash them), and looked them up. They cost a lot more than I was interested in spending if I didn't have to...seriously, we're talking over thirty bucks for something VERY similar to these I'm reviewing. I may be picky, but there were a few things about the design on those that I really liked and didn't want to NOT have in what I bought, the biggie being that I wanted an alarm on/off (not snooze) button on top that was easy to see or feel if it's engaged (feeling for in the dark... you know, when it's 2am and you wake up forgetting if you set the alarm and feel a little spooked that maybe you hadn't?). I wanted that on/off status OBVIOUS! So many analog alarm clocks seem to have the alarm switch small on the back, and if there's somthing on top to reach over and smack down, it's a snooze button... not what I was looking for. I'd bought a quite different brand that fit this odd spec of mine a few years ago, but it went kaput quickly, and I was itching for one lately again that would do better. It took a lot of rooting around on Amazon to find one enough like what I used to have, and which was not the fail I'd tried at some point in the meantime, and at a good price, but then I found this. It's so much like the one I loved while growing up in shape and layout, but *very* affordable, and silent ticking to boot, oh, and a fun color, too (I got turquoise)! It's easy to use, easy to tell if you've set it, discreet, feels sturdy, and has worked excellently so far. Also, the little light is nice to reach over and peek at the time without fumbling around. I need it PITCH dark in my room or insomnia rages, so I just set this nearby on a predictable spot the bedstand, and it's easy to reach over and feel my way round it to poke the light button to check the time, or run my hand over the top to make sure it's indeed all set for morning, no fuss or fumbling around. Perfect. I totally recommend going for it if you're considering this one. ... show more
