I really like the products from peak design as they are usually extremely high-quality. However, this car phone holder doesn’t work for my iPhone 11 promax the magnets don’t hold the phone and the phone slides off. I know I can buy the peak design attachment to put on the back of my phone that will lock it in place but that’s an additional expense and I just was hoping that it would hold my phone without it. ... show more

    • Discrete and strong on curved or flat surfaces, can't adjust ball tightness, can't tilt 90°
This mount fits perfectly on the passenger side on a strip of trim between the dash and the glovebox on my 2013 Ford C-Max. The base does not have a built-in curve, it flexes at two thinner points. The magnets are stronger than the Spigen MagSafe charging mount I use on the driver's side. I would use the charging version of this Peak Design mount for the driver's side, but that mounting location is level and these PD mounts block themselves before being able to rotate 90° so I can't get the phone to face me properly. ... show more

Tried to purchase case to use with a magnetic stand I already own from Costco. Wasn’t as simple as that. However bought their car stand and doing what I want. Only suggestions would be car stand using a suction rather than sticker as if you place in a location your not suck. Would be nice to have more colours to choose from. Finding it hard to get my daughter to purchase for her car. 🤣 kids! ... show more

Followed all the directions to clean the area. Put the mount on for 24 hours. And it didn't stay attached to my dashboard. It comes with two adhesive pieces but there is still way to get the sticky part off the bount itself to put on the second piece well. Very disappointed in this because now I have a case for a system that doesn't work to support my phone on the car and an expensive metal bracket that won't support the weight of my phone. ... show more

Love this car mount. Sturdy, the magnets are snappy every time, it feels so secure, easy to mount, easy to unmount. Peak design makes great products. Have bit come across a product that is not top notch from them.

    • The perfect car mount for phones
Having one on my wife's car and my truck makes it seamless to have my phone in the perfect position. Ensure to follow the installation guidelines and not use it for the first 24 hours. I've had zero issues with adhesion after 6 months of use.
