  • Great little home in pressure washer
Style: Green
It's got everything I need. I chose mainly for two reasons. I have catchment tanks out where I was wanting to use this. Meaning that this will run off of non pressurized water source. So, one can stick the inlet hose into a pond or 5 gallon bucket of water and it'll work. Granted you're going to have to get the hose full of water (primed) but it does work as advertised. The lack of pressure adjustment really simplifies the construction and operation to hooking up the water line, the pressure hose and then turning on the switch to "on". Oh and plugging in the 35 foot GFCI plug. Which is nice for keeping your electrical connections a long way from your watery pond working area. The unit is relatively light, quiet and nothing seems to be over working or screaming. Perfect for my 2 days a year outdoor home cleaning tasks. The way to achieve different levels of force with this is provided in the 4 different angles of spray nozzles that are included. The zero degree is going to be the most power. I'm not sure what that one would be used for. I used the next 2 up from that to power clean cement and get to rincing vinyl siding 15 feet over my head. So, in operation, once you've primed the pressure line by pulling the trigger, the unit shuts off and waits for you to pull the trigger again. That's the only time it will run without your input is while it's building the required pressure in the wand for action. Once there it's ready and waiting. No need to turn it off while you scrub the house or get lunch. When you come back it's just sitting there quietly waiting to get back to work. Pull the trigger and it comes back to life. So much simpler for my purposes and pace. The only thing weird about this is the kids show sized GFCI plug. It's always pretty warm when I pick it up to unplug for the day. This might be of 3rd world quality standards kind of deal, but would be an easy fix if it ever needed replacing. As far as actual pressure numbers... What I could do from 2' off the surface of a greasy garage floor with a commercial hot water unit, this one's gonna have to be about 6" from the surface to do. The up side is that there's very little danger to personal body parts compared to the professional washers. Getting the job done, taking a little longer to do it, with total safety piece of mind is exactly what I wanted. I even tried out the soap foaming tank at 25 percent dish soap and it worked fantastic. Goes through that little pint bottle very quickly, I might try a smaller percentage even. Awesome little tool, super happy. From some other reviewers mentioning the steel nozzles can rust up, always remove from gun when done and store in their little holders so they can dry out. ... show more

  • Respectable item but a few snags
Style: Green
I bought this for my handyman business and have "fair-to-good" comments. Once I got this, it sat around a little while until I first used it. It only got played with - minimally - by a 1-year-old. One of the wheels fell off. That got me to worrying. When I finally got to assembling the rest of it, the instructions were not especially good. But, I got through it. When I first started using it, the pressure wasn't all that great. After running for about 20-30 minutes, it seemed to get into its groove and ran well for an extended amount of time. Being a 3500 PSI washer, I expected more power. I've used gas washers before and once I got my fingertip too close to the nozzle and the force cut my skin. That will never happen with this piece. Even so, I pressure washed a deck with it and had satisfactory results. The thing about this was that I had to use the 15-degree tip to get the force I needed. That slowed the work down. When I did my second project, circumstances worked out about the same. The power starts off a bit sluggish with some noticeable vibration. Eventually, the bugs or bubbles in the line must get flushed through and it runs smoothly. If I just needed to use this for home use, it would be wonderful. For a business, it wasn't as versatile as I would prefer. I do intend to buy a gas-powered unit in the future. ... show more

  • Easy to use and portable. Good for everything except perhaps really big jobs
NOTE: There is a 3,000psi version of this unit for more money you should consider if you are going to be pressure washing a large driveway/walkway. This 2100psi unit is perfect for hauling around, cleaning decks, small sidewalk areas, small driveways, cars.... and LIFTING and CARRYING if you need to up stairs, etc. You don't have to worry about accidentally "drilling a hole" in your deck with a 2100psi unit, or taking the paint off your car if you get too close. I have a gas powered high-end brand-name pressure washer. It's 70 pounds, and hauling it around is a chore, but I need it for my driveway, so I keep it in my garage. I bought this less-powerful unit because it so SO much easier to use than a gas machine! With a gas machine you have tremendous vibration (I mean TREMENDOUS) (I had one NAME BRAND machine that I bought that vibrated so much it loosened the bolts holding the engine to the unit and it flung the bolts around and the unit fell off!!!! ((Fortunately I was far away when it happened but it scared the %$@#! out of me. I filed a complaint with the consumer protection agency as I thought the design poor. The company said , "Outside the warranty period. TS..." I'd love to mention the brand but can't here.) Also those gas machines are very loud and noisy. And you need to have a supply of gas for big jobs, and oil. You have to pay attention to the oil amount because if it runs out and the machine is still going, it'll fry the engine. Those gas machines get very hot, too. The electric machines have NONE of those issues. So, looking for a machine that get's the job done, won't break your back moving it, won't drill a hole in your deck, and you can lift it up and put it in your trunk? This is it. It's pretty easy to assemble, too. It takes about 15 minutes. None of the major working parts need assembling, just the wheels and the handles and such. Further, I bought two units as my daughter liked hers so much I bought one for myself, too. However, I didn't use the one for myself for a long time, past the initial warranty period I'm almost sure. When I took it out of the box, it didn't work. OBF. After a bit of back and forth with the manufacturer to demonstrate it was an OBF and not user-error, they just said, "We're shipping you a new one asap." So, I am buying a third one now for my son's place. So, I think these guys stand by their stuff. One other quirk - not a bad quirk - but just to be aware. When you turn it on, it comes on briefly, then appears to shut off. It basically "idles" if you are not pulling the trigger to squirt water, so it sounds like it's off. When you pull the trigger, the motor kicks in and water flows instantly. That's another difference with the gas units - they rattle and belch continuously. My only recommendation is that they could put a light duty "lock on" button. You hand can get very tired after a while holding the trigger and dealing with the force of the water. (A twisty-tie works fine, but a push in- push out lock on would be much better. I'm ordering my third 2100psi unit. So, that's my recommendation. ... show more
