Took me a few hours to put together. The chicken coop wire is lower grade then what I'm used to but it is coated. Not a bad product for the money, I just thought it would be sturdier.

The product is okay. I bought it for my chickens and it works to an extent. The directions were not so much help. Small pictures and very limited instructions. Wiring was good. Trap is of good quality. My one real problem is the door. The hinges don’t stay in place causing the door to move and get out of place a lot. The latch is a joke. It gets stuck almost every time I go unlock or lock it. So I’m gonna have to go spend more money on this kennel so I can make sure it has a 100% operable door, it’s about 20-30% at the moment and I wouldn’t leave my American bully in that because I know she can get out so 10 out of 10 a predator can get in. It wouldn’t do the job of confining an animal very well at all! Of any size for that matter. ... show more

This is very easy to put together and has worked nicely for us. We added heavy fencing around the bottom for predator protection. This is very cost effective and quick to set up if you are just looking for containment.

Well, it lasted the summer. Pretty tenious using zip ties that were provided to attach the chicken wire to the unit, including the door. No instructions provided, so we got to guess what fit where. Minnesota winter came, and with it only having the one tarp on the side we felt snow should slide off. After a blizzard it just didn't hold up. Snow didn't go completely through the chicken wire and the whole thing collapsed. Not looking forward to spring to see if this hot mess is salvageable. Spent extra on durable zip ties (thicker) to put this up as the ones that came with were already breaking off and our chickens were getting out. I reinforced all around with an extra 2' chicken wire to help ensure predators wouldn't wreck the fencing at the bottom and to keep chickens in. ... show more

The frame was easy to assemble however the zip ties that they sent with the kit are useless. Frame took less than 1hr to complete. It took 3 days rk tie the wire onto the frame. I chose to get a larger gage wire for it because the wire they sent was flimsy. All in all a good cage.

It's a good size. Wish the chicken wire was pre-wrapped on panels shipped flat, it was a pain to put on and looks sloppy with zip ties. For the cost, though, good chicken run. Also with the shade was a tad bigger, it should be 1-2 inches longer on all sides due to the way the ties attach. Would also prefer a shade tie that makes it easier to roll back, as needed, without fully removing it. All in all, I like it, but assembly was a pain. ... show more

It assembles very easily. The chicken wire is thin so I would not use this to house chickens in at night but to protect them from hawks and other aerial predators by day while allowing you to bring them fresh snack and greens. It has worked wonderfully for that purpose.
