  • A Chickenless Coop Veggie Garden
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Dome Roof Size: 299.2"L x 110.2"W x 77.6"H
Well made. Assembly took some time but directions and parts clearly marked. I'm 70 and was able to assemble easily with my husband a year older. Using it as an enclosure for my raised bed vegetable garden to keep all the 4 legged or winged predators out. Survived this past very nasty cold and snowy winyer in NY. Definitely recommend. Excellent product. ... show more

  • Great alternative for a Catio!
Pattern Name: 1.3" Dia Flat Roof Size: 9' x 12' x 6.5'
I purchased this coop to give my cat more space to roam in the backyard, but to keep him safe from the other critters that roam our neighborhood. It took my friend and I about 4.5 hours to build. Quick pros and cons: ~Pros~ - Both boxes delivered at the same time (make sure you get 2) - Pretty sturdy free standing structure - Simple and straight forward instructions (for the most part) as putting the frame together was easy. - Very large and plenty of room for cats to roam inside. The chicken wire also keeps larger leaves from falling into the coop. - Gives my cat safe outdoor time ~Cons~ - Do NOT use the zip ties given to you in the package. They're brittle and will break easily when exposed to the elements. My cat broke out of the coop many times because of this. I switched to extreme weather zip ties to combat this issue. - As many people mentioned before, the chicken wire is not pre cut to size. Most of our assembly time was spent on this step. - Chicken wire is very maleable. Which made it easy for my cat to escape out the bottom. I reenforced the base with more zip ties and the green wire that they provide in the supplies box. I wouldn’t recommend this coop if you plan on using with dogs or larger animals unless you purchase stronger chicken wire. - There is a gap between the door and the frame. If you have small cats, it could be easy for them to slip through. I used pipe insulator on the gaps to prevent this from happening. Overall, I’m happy with this coop. I had my trials and tribulations, but it was worth it considering the peace of mind it gives me for my cat. Just keep in mind the cons before purchasing and whether or not they might apply to you. ... show more

  • Worked Great Until the Hurricane Got It
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Spire Roof Size: 9.8' x 26.2' x 6.6'
This PawHut chicken run worked great and was fairly easy to set up. It gave the chickens a nice covered area, and the waterproof/anti-UV cover was a useful feature. I was happy with it while I had it. Unfortunately, a hurricane ended up blowing it away, but that was obviously not the product’s fault. Overall, it worked well and I would consider buying it again. ... show more

  • Cheap material and bad service. Save your money.
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Dome Roof Size: 374.0"L x 110.2"W x 77.6"H
This "chicken coop" is made with weak plastic mesh that will NOT keep any predators out. The metal is flimsy and the doors do not latch well. Construction was a bear and it is weak and lightweight. On top of that, the entire roof caved in under a few inches of snow. Customer service would not fix it and suggested I should have somehow moved my 31' chicken coop indoors for the snow. Also recommended clearing it of snow frequently. As it snowed overnight, I'm not sure how that works. Either way, they politely told me to fix it myself. Save your money and a lot of headache. This thing is garbage and will break incredibly easy under minimal strain. ... show more

  • Does the job
It was fairly easy to assemble once I realized that there were two bars that were the wrong piece! The metal pegs were going in the opposite direction that they needed to be and there wasn’t a way to fix it. So I have two bars that are not as secure as the others. Once you put the chicken wire up and tie it down, it wouldn’t fall apart. The door, no matter what I do, it’s slanted. I am not able to steak it down in the ground as it is on concrete, one side sits flush on the ground while the opposite side does not. It’s sturdy. The cover is not waterproof. It’s very thin material. I do recommend this though. It got the job done. ... show more

  • Easy to put together, durable.
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Spire Roof Size: 9.8' x 26.2' x 6.6'
Love this run! Works perfect for my chickens. It was easy to put together, and seems to weather the Missouri storms well.

  • Just Right!
Just what we needed for a chick run. We need a run for our new brood of chicks that had reached 4 weeks old. Plus we had 6 surprise chicks our hen had decided to hatch in secret. This chicken run was perfect. The sturdiness is good but you will definitely want to anchor this down, just like you would any light weight shelter. We put in 8 anchors and it would take a Tornado to move this thing now. The Frame was easy enough to put together but attaching the chicken wire was a bit daunting. All parts were included and we actually had extra chicken wire left. Make sure to buy about 200 extra zipties if you want the chicken wire to stay tight. Overall, for building this on a budget, well worth the price for the quality. Would highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great bang for buck!
Pattern Name: 1.3" Dia Flat Roof Size: 9' x 12' x 6.5'
Love the head room. I'm 6'2" and do not have to worry about hitting my head once I get in to the run. Solid materials. Recommend siding all of these types of runs with quarter inch hardware cloth. The chicken wire is fine for the top, deterring arial predators. The end opposite the door needs a brace across the middle. I happen to have the top rail for chain link fence lying around and picked up some extra 90 deg brackets, same as comes with this run, so higher quality tubing than some of the others. Yes, I have some of the others, this one is better. Love the flat top design, but, placing the tarp on is easy enough, just don't let it rain. That flat area will fill with water and if you don't go out there and push the water off there will be issues. I also reenforced the sides on the door end with the same mid way concept as described above for the far end. Bottom line, this is better than the last one I bought. If you price out building one with lumber, this purchase is a no brainer. If they would include the additional suggestions above and perhaps some bowed tubes for the top "the rain fix", I would pay the offset they would need to charge. Perhaps they can design an upgrade kit for say $50. ... show more
